Monthly Rentals in Hornby Island

Our stay at Ekta & Peter's place was absolutely wonderful! Before we even realized our ferry mishap would affect our plans, Ekta proactively called to offer adjusting our dates – such a thoughtful gesture that saved our trip. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by Ekta, Peter, and their charming chickens who showed us around. The cabin is a perfect forest retreat – cozy, well-stocked, and filled with natural light through skylights and windows framing the trees. Just a few hundred metres away, Grassy Point Park offered beautiful ocean views and birdwatching. The private jacuzzi nestled among the trees was especially magical at night. Ekta's artistic touch shines throughout, from her beautiful pottery (which you actually use!) to the playful chicken-themed touches. Prepare to be charmed by more whimsical chicken decor than you ever thought was possible, plus real chickens leaping for berries outside the cabin! We can’t wait to be back!

Great stay! The cabin has everything you need for a week on Hornby. We enjoyed just sitting on the deck, and taking in the sound of the wind in the Aspen trees and the eagles perched in the fir tree. The property is beautiful and quiet and sits behind a line of trees, right before the beach. If you have anyone in your group with mobility issues, be aware the walk to the beach has a few big steps down, and the stairs to the upstairs room are steep. We would happily stay again.

Mel and Pats place is an absolute beautiful spot to visit! The place is even better than the photos. It has a beautiful walk out to the beach, peaceful place to watch the sun set and a very comfortable bed in the loft. Mel and Pat were so welcoming, friendly and had incredible touches around the property making it feel like home includes delicious homemade cookies. Their cats were the highlight of the Fat Cat Inn for my daughter. We will certainly be back again to visit!
