This newly renovated holiday apartment in a detached house is located in a quiet and peaceful location in the heart of Horneburg, tucked away at the end of a traffic-free street and just a few minutes' walk from the train station and large supermarkets. The apartment has 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed, 2 single beds, and a large sofa that can also be used for a comfortable sleep if desired. A new kitchen is equipped with a table and six chairs, as well as all other necessary kitchen utensils.

Important to know: The sleeping area is upstairs and can only be reached by quite steep and narrow stairs - guests should feel comfortable climbing up!

This house became famous in 1976 when the famous actress Elisabeth Flickenschildt wanted to realize her dream as a farmer in the countryside here, but died in 1977.

For shopping, we recommend the Hanseatic city of Hamburg (about 45 minutes by car) or the cozy cities of Stade (20 minutes) and Buxtehude (12 minutes). Welcome to the extension of my beautiful wooden house built in 2020! Whether for a relaxing weekend or longer stays, it offers space for 2 people to feel good. By the way, in summer the attic apartment does not heat up because it has the insulation of passive houses. Cool in summer, warm in winter! If you need more space, the apartment below (about 60 m²) with 3 beds and a terrace can be rented.

Cycling between the Altes Land and Hamburg

With great passion for the mid-century style and bikes of all kinds and we have set up our '70s bungalow. From here you can easily explore and experience the Altes Land with Hamburg, but also Buxtehude, Stade and the Elbe up to Cuxhaven. But of course, the house is just as suitable as a temporary home office (Airbus near Stade + Finkenwerder) or for simply a relaxing break in the countryside.
