Beautiful little cottage in Hornsea. Everything you need is here and very well presented. Close enough to everything to not need to take the car anywhere.

Oomwoc Cottage

Wonderful little place to stay! Hot tub in its own outdoor room so perfect for any weather! My 2yo loved all the highland cow decor, and the 2nd bedroom was cosy and safe for her being off the main bedroom. Close to several seaside towns, and only 30 mins from the deep, so a good location for kids any weather! Lovely stay!

What a pleasure meeting Sue. Her property/home is beautiful and peaceful. The bedroom is very comfortable with a fully equipped private bathroom/shower room. Free Parking right outside. Plenty of places to eat near by. A few minutes walk to the sea front.

May Rose Cottage

We were made very welcome. She provided detailed information about the cottage and local attractions in the Hornsea and South Yorkshire area. The cottage was comfortable and very well appointed throughout. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed. The Wi-Fi was excellent, allowing us to stay connected effortlessly. Additionally, the key safe provided peace of mind when we ventured out, ensuring that we wouldn’t misplace the key. We had a relaxed and enjoyable stay.

Seaside escape 2-bed bungalow with sunny patio

SamRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely break in Hornsea, the perfect spot if you are looking for a quaint, not too commercial English seaside town. You could not be much closer to the beach, it's literally a few minutes walk away. And the town itself has some really lovely eating places, Sullivans Fish and Chips and Mondo Del Caffè to name a few. The bungalow itself is beautiful, tastefully decorated, cosy and calm. The kitchen contains everything you would expect to find in your kitchen at home. No expense has been spared. Lovely, comfy beds were a big bonus too. Only small things required the assistance of Philip who was on the ball and dealt with queries promptly. I am an oxygen user and was so pleased when Helena/Philip agreed that we could have my oxygen installed for the week that we stayed. They could not have been more helpful. Many thanks.

Victorian villa with Mere views and large garden

JayneRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Liz, the owner, was totally on the ball. From booking to arriving she sent me messages and kept me updated. All the instructions were easy to follow and the house was easy to find. The house itself was amazing, an old gothic Victorian villa that was warm and welcoming, retaining some original features. the location was excellent with direct views to the local lake or mere. There was a private garden we didn’t use as it was winter but which would be great in summer. The house was on the outskirts of the village but within 2 minutes walk you were at local pubs and a couple of restaurants. The main shops were about a 7-8 minute walk away. The beach is much further and we used the car.however we did not visit for the bach and were aware of how far away itwas. Liz was on hand if we needed her but left us to ourselves. There was a booklet full of local information, places to visit, best restaurants, a history of the house etc. All very well done. Would definitely return.
