Monthly Rentals in Hornsea Mere

Liz, the owner, was totally on the ball. From booking to arriving she sent me messages and kept me updated. All the instructions were easy to follow and the house was easy to find. The house itself was amazing, an old gothic Victorian villa that was warm and welcoming, retaining some original features. the location was excellent with direct views to the local lake or mere. There was a private garden we didn’t use as it was winter but which would be great in summer. The house was on the outskirts of the village but within 2 minutes walk you were at local pubs and a couple of restaurants. The main shops were about a 7-8 minute walk away. The beach is much further and we used the car.however we did not visit for the bach and were aware of how far away itwas. Liz was on hand if we needed her but left us to ourselves. There was a booklet full of local information, places to visit, best restaurants, a history of the house etc. All very well done. Would definitely return.

The apartment is called little gem and that's what it is, except its not that little. It is beautifully decorated with attention to quality and detail and was very clean. Plenty of space, the entrance has space for coats and shoes, the bedroom has walk in wardrobe and a really comfy bed. There were some welcome goodies too but everything is on your doorstep, even just a short walk to the beach. It is an exceptional property, very private and Jane is a wonderful and welcoming host. I would definitely recommend this apartment. Thank you Jane for a wonderful stay.

Had a lovely stay. Lovely little place, very private, really clean and a huge super comfy bed. Really well located for walks into Hornsea and loved relaxing in the gorgeous private garden. lots of little extra touches. I would definitely book again.

A quite wonderful short stay in a beautiful lodge. It had everything we needed and more for a very comfortable stay. Immaculately clean and tidy. I would HIGHLY recommend this Lodge to anyone wishing to stay in Hornsea and who is looking for something that wee bit special. Location is perfect, with restaurants and Pubs within a very short distance. We couldn't have wished for better. My thanks to the hosts for allowing us to stay. Fantastic. 5 🌟
