A friendly stay in the countryside! Friendly and welcoming hosts. Very nice for children to have all the animals on the farm nearby.

We spent 2 Nights at Sylvie's in a Magnificent view of the Basque mountains Everything is great! Lovely welcome with fresh farm eggs and Basque cookies The cottage is an old sheepfold renovated with great taste Nothing is missing! For a change of scenery and a guaranteed rest, this is the ideal place We will surely come back because 2 Days are not enough to discover this Authentic region

What a wonderfully quiet and peaceful place to stay. Right in the mountains not far from St Jean-Pied-de-Port but in a very quiet valley full of sheep and cows. From their house there are trails that go all up into the hills. I walked on them every day I was there. The house is large, we had part of the first upper floor. The ceilings are high and each room has it's own cooling/heating unit. The rooms are so spacious. Everything has been redone, but you can tell it's a real old house with it's own story. The kitchen is clean and has lots of things you would need to cook and eat. Outside there is a place to eat outside. The views are so pretty, from the house you can see right across the valley. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Quiet stay, great view, peaceful, accessible hiking nearby, jam and cheese producer a stone's throw from the property. Georges has good advice, very welcoming, attentive. I highly recommend this listing, ideal for relaxing and enjoying nature. I'll definitely come back...
