We absolutely loved our stay. This is the first time we have stayed there under the new owners and it was absolutely phenomenal. The place was beautiful, and the amenities were awesome.

The home was wonderful and comfortable. It was a great getaway for my brothers and I to get to hang out as we don't get to see each other that often due to living hours away from each other. Would definitely stay there again. Its a beautiful home and property and the pond is amazing.

Great spot on the lake can sleep 7 all having own beds. Good spot for a lake weekend.

A peaceful weekend with family and friends. The amenities are phenomenal. We loved kayaking. We booked here with the old owners, and it is exactly the same with the new ones. We will definitely be back.

The Annex was everything we could have ever hoped for in a relaxing lakeside getaway. We went with a few friends, and the layout of the property and the home itself ensured everyone had their own space and privacy. The huge enclosed patio and the outdoor covered area offered abundant seating for endless entertainment. I don't think we spent much time indoors the entire time! Jon is a superb human being with a genuine passion for hosting and providing for others. He has built something magical, and his biggest desire is to share the unique experience with everyone. We also enjoyed the ranch tour on the adjacent property, which somehow managed to be an even more spectacular experience than the lodging itself. I've never been so close to whitetail, bison, blackbuck, axis, fallow, and even an African bongo; and the professional photos we got means we can relive the experience indefinitely. That being said, I have no doubt we'll be staying at The Annex and doing the tour again soon!

This was our third trip back, and hopefully not our last. The house and property are perfect for a quiet getaway in the country. Our two young boys spent every minute fishing (and catching), playing in the woods, collecting firewood, building forts, making smores... everything but staring at some type of screen. Highly recommend!

Such a peaceful location with lots of nature and wildlife. Very beautiful house with plenty of games and activities as well as onsite hiking through the property.

Once I pulled into the drive it felt as all my worries and stress got stuck at the entrance. The peace and happiness I felt while being there was like no other. I didn't want to leave. This ranch is so beautiful and brings such a wave of calmness to your soul. My kids absolutely adored it. The cabin we stayed in was perfect! They had everything you could need in there. Even toys for kids!! The best part about this ranch though is the owner, Randi. You won't meet anyone like her!! From the second I first messaged her up until we left, she was the best! She is so incredibly kind and sweet especially to my kids. She talked to them like people and not just brush them off because they're a kid. My girls loved her so much! She was a stranger going in on Friday and felt like family after leaving on Sunday. She even offered to make us breakfast on Mother's Day!!! Brought it to our cabin too! The ranch and everything it has to offer is exceptional, but Randi is the real reason to stay!

The cabin was adorable. Easy access. The driveway into the cabins was extremely narrow. I had a small 16 ft trailer with me that the tires rubbed along the entryway which was not a problem but would have been easier to drive through if it was wider. Not of any fault of the host what so ever there was a storm and the electric was out due to a tree falling on the line. It came back on around 10pm and we had to leave around 7 am for our activity in town. We were not able to actively get the full experience of the cute place due to only being there 12 hours and 5 of the hours was without power.

Herbert was very nice and the cabins were great. The big windows made for a nice screen for the lightning show we had early the first morning. The access to kayaks was great and the lake is the perfect size for kayaking and just relaxing on the water. Kayaking out to view the sunset was nice as well. We fished a little off the pier and although fish were jumping all over the lake we didn’t catch any. We saw a momma deer and her very new baby walk across our yard. So cute. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Thank you for having us.

The pictures accurately reflect the space! This is a top-notch rental with spectacular lake views and very easy kayak launching. We spent most of our time at the boathouse admiring the view or kayaking on the water. The beds were all very comfortable, there was great water pressure in the showers, and the deck was fantastic with multiple fans to help beat the heat. The kitchen was well appointed, there was coffee and tea provided… we really wanted for nothing. The road getting there was a little rugged, as described, but not at all a problem for us. However, it is a bit slow going on it, so highly recommend bringing everything you need so that you don’t have to leave and go to town. Host was very responsive and helpful for our few questions. This was so peaceful, spacious, comfortable, and easily one of our best rental rentals. Highly recommend.

Had a lovely stay at Cabin C on the ranch. Sparklingly clean and yet cozy and felt like home. Beautiful surroundings, and so peaceful at the ranch. Randi was super responsive, and very friendly and hospitable. Would definitely love to stay there again!

Such a beautiful little house by the lake! Wildlife surrounds the gorgeous yard and quant household. No issues reaching out to the owners, they were available and able to help us with all questions and concerns. Will be returning!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
