House holiday rentals in Howrah

What a wonderful place to stay for a couple of days R&R or an extended holiday. We were a group of seven who had been travelling around Tassie, playing golf. We had two nights here for a lovely rest, and what a fabulous place to do just that. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. We really didn't need to leave the house as there was plenty to do there, either relaxing by the fire, playing pool or relaxing in the spa and pool. The house is perfect for a group of friends or a family reunion for a holiday or a few days catch up. I would recommend this property to anyone. Thank you Jason for sharing your beautiful home with us.

This is an outstanding property with a wonderful and responsive host. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The house is very private and well appointed, maintained and stocked with quality produce and supplies - we were also welcomed by a beautiful hamper, and warm service. The property itself has stunning views from almost every window. We enjoyed using the gym (located in an adjacent private building which can also be used as a study), pool and spa. We had a few things on our list to visit for the Huon Valley but were very content to stay at the house and enjoy all the amenities. We would most definitely return here when visiting Tasmania.

We had an excellent few days with our family at Marina’s house. The house is simple with large rooms and lots of space indoor and out. The view is lovely and ever changing and the kids loved the ducks and native hens. An ideal place for a family gathering.

Great location for family or friends to get together. Literally walk out the door onto a beautiful beach. Plenty of outdoor amenities available incl swimming pool, tennis, basketball hoop, billiards, kayaks etc. Quiet and peaceful area, but close to airport and to Hobart so very convenient. Great communication from Julie in advance who also met us on arrival and showed us in. Thank you for a great stay.

Chantelle was absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. I had a lot of questions, both for myself and on behalf of the group. Chantelle was always quick to respond and happy to assist. Her communication was excellent, and she was flexible with our check-in times, which really helped accommodate our busy schedule. The house itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. It was so well-equipped, down to all the essentials, which made staying in really enjoyable and convenient. I’d definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Tassie.☺️

Nick and Georgi were exceptional hosts, responsive, welcoming, and an absolute pleasure to communicate with throughout our stay. The house itself was a perfect space for our group of friends. Thoughtfully designed and beautifully equipped for a larger group, it offered everything we needed and more. From the stunning views to the comfortable communal areas with heated floors, every detail contributed to a truly memorable experience. The generous touch of fresh bread and wine on arrival made it feel extra special. The indoor pool and sauna were a standout feature and an absolute highlight of our winter getaway, everyone loved it. I honestly can’t recommend this home highly enough. A truly outstanding stay.

This apartment was in an ideal location — walkable from the city (just note there’s a hill on the way back!). The view from the balcony overlooking the harbour was stunning. It was peaceful, cosy, and wonderfully warm after exploring the city in the chilly Dark Mofo weather. Kelly was super responsive and shared plenty of great recommendations for our stay. We absolutely loved Hobart and will definitely be back!

An absolutely beautiful home! My husband and I stayed for a week for our honeymoon, and it was the perfect getaway! The home is stunning, close to CBD and everything was spotless and clean. We couldn’t have stayed anywhere better. Thank you Aloïse!!

A fabulous stay. Super comfy bed. Very well equipped house and kitchen. Great location and walkable to central Hobart, Salamanca Markets and Battery Point. Two great cafes within yards of the home. Staying in an historical home just added something special to our visit to Hobart. Thank you Bec.

The pictures don’t do this place justice! The views are incredible from every room, making you feel like you are on the edge of the world. The bathtub view was a favorite for us, although the view from the Sauna was right up there too! There are so many thoughtful additions for guests- spices in the pantry, books to read - and our kids especially liked the extra toys and games! Macy was such an incredibly responsive host - getting back to us within minutes. All to say- this was a wonderful stay on our trip around Tasmania and we will certainly be back!

Lynmouth was very clean and comfortable for our stay with pantry essentials for preparing meals. Great location for Hobart hockey grounds, easy access from airport and supermarket close by.

We had the most amazing 5 days in Celinas house. The view was to die for and it was an easy 5 minute drive into Hobart and easy access to go in any direction if you were out & about touring! We would absolutely come back again & would highly recommend this to anyone thinking of coming to Hobart.

Very comfortable and peaceful. Bed was very comfortable and everything there was just like home. There were some very interesting books! ! Overall, it was a very nice place. Host was very friendly and helpful and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I would have liked to stay longer. The view was beautiful!!

Christiane and her husband were very hospitable and friendly. We felt very welcomed and felt blessed to share their beautiful space. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful and peaceful experience.

Beautiful views and lovely backyard. Nicely laid out and very spacious home. Only reason for giving a four for cleanliness is due to the condition of the kitchen frying pans and some of the appliances not being clean. However, not a big deal and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Lovely place to stay for a couple of nights in Hobart. Beautiful view over the Derwent river and of the mountain and had everything we needed. Great option for a large group or a few families

My partner and I and dog stayed 3 nights. Great for dogs as the grassed back yard is fully fenced and the deck secure, for a medium sized dog. They even left some doggy treats for us! The house was comfortable and spacious for 2 adults. A nicely set out kitchen with all we needed (coffee machine!), bright and airy. Off street parking. The house is a block away from a reserve, which is fantastic for dog walking. Shopping centre only 5 mins drive away.

We enjoyed our 4 nights stay. The place is as described, with the gorgeous view greeting us as we entered the house. Appreciated the toys and board games provided which kept the family entertained every evenings. Heaters are working well.

I had an excellent stay. The property was well-equipped with everything I needed and was situated in a perfect location. It was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. I would be happy to stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
