We had the most amazing stay at Verena and Eike’s Hytta. The location was serene and peaceful, and the perfect place to get away from it all. While you have to plan ahead for ferry times and supplies, Måren is beautiful. We went hiking, swimming in the harbour and loved using the sauna. The Hytta is well equipped, and Verena and Eike gave helpful and clear instructions for everything - I hope we get to come back again!

we found villa tippetue easily, very nicely located with a view of the Sognefjord. we did indeed have to go through a piece of forest of about 70m first. unfortunately not much luck with the weather, we did see a little sun every day. the cottage has a very nice terrace with a view of the fjord and a cozy living room. there were maps available for walks in the area, also detailed laminated maps. unfortunately the very local part was not present, probably accidentally taken by a previous visitor. We downloaded the Norwegian maps app Norgeskart. The stupet naveset tronvik walk - on the flank there - is also well marked. There is a ladder and a section where ropes assist the descent (our dog could easily find his own way around it). The ground was still quite wet and sometimes slippery (early June) in hoyanger also nice walking. To flam it is a good 3h drive. Recommended!

We had two wonderful days in Brimnes and were able to unwind very well. The micro-house has a great concept with very good facilities and impresses with its extraordinary location at the end of the archipelago. Very helpful hosts who are happy to offer support if you need anything. Many thanks to Tone and Robin for the hospitality! PS: For owners of an electric car: There is the possibility of charging at a wall box directly at the house, so that you do not have the stress of being stranded on the island.
