Beyond our expectations! The house was perfect , clean, peaceful and felt like home. The host is so friendly and helpful and helped us feel settled right away. The Views were unbelievable! The Location was so nice for us as we were only in Iceland for 5 days but we got to visit so many places from Selfoss. I would go back in a heartbeat ! Clean and comfortable home was just right for some recuperation on a rainy day with plenty of space for my family of four. The location was great to access the golden circle and south coast destinations once the weather cleared up. Communication was great and both check in and check out was a breeze. The deck feels very private. The kitchen was well stocked with tools and appliances. Location is very close to grocery stores for self-catering and there are restaurants nearby if you would rather not cook.

A great cabin for a large group - we had 6 adults with room to spare. No issues with hot water, but we ran into a late night flooding issue in cabin 1, which Arni responded to the next morning. Can prep a basic meal in the clean kitchen, lots of dishware available. Cabins are warm and are well insulated, with amazing views of that gorgeous lake. Pillows and blankets were so comfortable. This is a solid location for fishing if you’re into that, with an outdoor sink by the lake as well. We loved driving home and saying hi to the sheep, lamb, and horses. There’s laundry, which is great, but the dryer is less effective than we expected (if you’re used to American dryers) so just watch out for that. Internet is perfect from the common cabin but inaccessible from the others. Need to pack shampoo/conditioner/hair dryer. We loved our stay here but note: beware Google maps if it takes you on Grafningsvegur Efri and then Klifsskogur - a narrow road that closes (at night/always?).

If you are looking to stay near the National Park and enjoy a private, incredibly quite relaxing trip, this is the most amazing choice. For us this home was the perfect space, incredible design, stunning views with impeccable lighting. We needed to rest and relax while exploring the vast landscape of Iceland and this was beyond perfect. We will absolutely be back.

We had an amazing time at Emma and Oskar’s place. The location was serene and breathtaking. Beautiful views of the water and wildlife. The home was extremely cozy, tasteful, and had everything we could ask for. The deck had gorgeous views, a wonderful hot tub, the water was always hot, the beds were comfortable and the entire place had a cozy feel. Hosts gave very clear check in instructions which made it a breeze. The home is close to everything you need. We had an amazing time and highly recommend to anyone traveling to Iceland.

This place is great! Very cozy and close to the golden circle and Selfoss, which has great restaurants! We especially enjoyed the cozy vibe of the interior furniture and kitchen. We also really enjoyed the hot tub and cold plunge combo. Magnús was really responsive when we had questions, and even got on the phone to walk us through how to fill the hot tub and turn off the lights so we could better view the aurora!

We, My husband and our two adult children, enjoyed our stay in beautiful Iceland staying at Ernas place. The house is really clean and nice and it is fantastic to follow the daily chances of landscape from the livingroom room and the terrace. Erna and her sons helped us in connection with a few situations we could not resolve ourselves. Its er perfekt place because its located between the most worth-seeing attractions and you can easily plan your trips based on the weather forecast. The best recommendations Dorte and family

We loved Hulda's apartment. The location is perfect for your Golden Circle Experience as it's really close to all the main attractions. The apartment is cute, very clean and easy to access.Also three of us were very comfortable and a family of four could manage well there. It's less than five minutes from multitudes of great restaurants in what looks like an up and coming town in Sulfoss. I could not recommend Hulda and her place enough!

Linda was an absolutely amazing host, she was very responsive and always so polite. The house is gorgeous, it had everything you could need and was spotless! I would definitely stay here again but for longer next time!

This was a great place for us to stay. It’s close to grocery stores and restaurants. It’s also close to the city so it is convenient but it’s very nice that you are not right in the city. I would highly recommend staying here.

I don't know where to start. We were tired from an overnight flight and when we got to the apartment we felt so relaxed. Disa is a wonderful hostess and it was such a pleasure to have several conversations with her. She is so energetic and friendly. Skagafell was so comfortable to be in. Phenomenal bed, plenty of hot water and very nice temperature inside. Several times we saw horses go through and saw several herds as we approached our place. You can't go wrong renting this unique place.

Our stay at Brynja’s was great! She was very proactive about communication and the Airbnb was exactly what we needed. Some great tourist spots were conveniently nearby and others were not a long drive away. Highly recommend staying here, especially if you want to spend less time driving and more time exploring like we did!

Location was peaceful and close enough to the town. Everything was clean and bed was comfortable. Horses made some noice, but it was just nice.

Biggest concern we have when we travel is a good night’s sleep. One of the main deciding factors for choosing this place was that several people had commented on a comfortable bed. It did not disappoint. We slept great! Location was great for us as it was just outside the city. Host was super responsive and accommodating. If there was something you needed but didn’t have, she would happily get it. We would definitely stay there again!

We really enjoyed our stay in this home. Làrey was extremely helpful with everything, always providing quick responses. The kitchen is absolutely amazing and has everything you could possibly need—much more than expected. I truly enjoyed cooking there; it felt just like being in my own kitchen. This is the best house we have rented for our holidays. The beds are very comfortable. I was fall in love with Christmas decoration. Big thank you for that🥰 Everything was just perfect!I highly recommend it to everyone!

We enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was spacious, extremely well equipped, comfortable and quiet. The kitchen was amazing, with more tools and utensils than we could ever use. It is about a 10 minute walk to the New Old Selfoss area, where most of the shopping that we used is located. Sindri was responsive to our requests and accommodating to our needs.

We had a lovely stay, really modern apartment with nice surroundings! If you’re wanting to go into Reykjavík frequently I’d recommend having a rental car just as the flat is a little bit further out, but the drive is straightforward into town. There’s a good spot to try and see the Northern lights nearby which is a plus of being further out. Overall we really enjoyed our stay :)

I cannot recommend this condo enough. This was a great place right outside of Reykjavík that allowed us to quickly go into town and provided a great jumping off point for our tours. The condo was welcoming and very clean - it is exactly how the photos and description describe it. The amenities were great, and the laundry was wonderful after long days. Also, Hannes was a phenomenal host. He allowed us to check in early because of an early morning flight, and was extremely responsive to any question I had. I cannot wait to return and rebook this condo. I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you Hannes for your hospitality!

Emilia’s place was clean, cozy, equipped with everything one might need for a short stay. It is close to two grocery stores. It was perfect for our family of five.

We enjoyed our stay at Eydis’s place. It is a beautifully decorated, very large apartment. A great value for the cost based on our other accommodations in Iceland. Eydis was very responsive as a host and helped answer questions we had on arrival. The apartment itself was in a nice complex, and very quiet which is a top priority for us. We typically avoid first floor apartments for fear of noise from neighbors above, but we never heard anything from nearby units our entire stay. Thanks Eydis for hosting us!

This was our first time visiting Iceland! Staying in Monika's apartment made our trip much more memorable. We would recommend this Bnb whether you stay locally or are travelling out of the city for scenic views. Some of our favorite things about this Bnb were that the kitchen was fully equipped; there are two groceries within short walking distance of the apartment; the scenic Arbaerjarlaug community thermal pool is a 10min walk; our favorite Konditori Bakari for morning coffee and goods was less than 5min walk. The apartment is just the right size for two people, great for cooking, and is cozy on a rainy day. Monika's recommendations list was very helpful. We had everything we needed to make our first international trip easier to navigate :)
