Cave holiday rentals in Iberian Peninsula

Charming place in an exquisitely charming town. Clean, roomy and comfortable, Dominique’s place was all one could ask for in a visit to Saint Emilion. The outside dining area (in a cave!) was a highlight. A five star experience all around!

Twin beds on the upper floor of a cool house built into a cave. Easy check-in and communicative host.

L'accueil par Fabienne était impeccable. Le logement correspondait très bien au descriptif et le lieu parfait pour un séjour au calme.

Ein absoluter Traum direkt am Meer! Das Haus war einfach perfekt – mit einem atemberaubenden Blick direkt aufs Meer, den wir jeden Morgen und Abend von der Terrasse genossen haben. Drei Schlafzimmer, das Wohnzimmer und die Küche haben ebenfalls Meerblick. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen – alles war super sauber, hochwertig und durchdacht eingerichtet. Einmalig ist auch die Höhle im Keller, die zu einem direkten Zugang zum Meer führt. Von dort sind wir einige Male mit dem Kanu oder Stand Up Paddel (welche von Roman kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt werden!) raus aufs Meer. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich Roman als Gastgeber: extrem hilfsbereit, herzlich und mit tollen Tipps zu Restaurants und Ausflügen, die unseren Aufenthalt wirklich bereichert haben. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Notre séjour à Monfort a été extrèmement agréable. Quel bonheur de boire son café dans le jardin le matin face au château de Monfort. Certes le logement se trouve juste à coté de la route (donc si vous voulez du silence totale ce ne sera pas le cas) mais la vue et les environs font de ce logement un endroit tout à fait exceptionnel, ce qui en fait oublier ce petit désagrément. Morgane a été une hôte charmante et tout à fait à l'écoute. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement pour une pause hors du temps. Merci pour tout!

Expérience incroyable. Super logement, très propre. Miguel est très réactif. La grotte se situe dans une rue paisible et reposante. Moment très dépaysant. Nous recommandons fortement ce logement si vous venez à Grenade.

We absolutely loved it - lovely cave house modified to an extremely high standard with everything you need. 3 bedrooms, kitchen and terrace with gorgeous views. Nieve was lovely host & we'd recommend to anyone. It is hidden up a path and a few steps but we'll worth the effort 👌

Wir hatten eine super Zeit in der Unterkunft! Sie ist wunderschön und bietet viel Platz. Die Parkplatzsituation ist etwas schwierig, da das Haus in der Innenstadt liegt und die Straßen sehr schmal sind, aber wir wurden im Vorhinein darauf hingewiesen und uns wurden geeignete Parkplätze in der Gegend von dem Host vorgeschlagen. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall!

La estancia fue estupenda y la atención de Marisa genial, nos puso facilidades para el horario de llegada y estuvimos en contacto continuamente, incluso nos dio instrucciones sobre donde podíamos comprar. A la llegada fue super amable, nos explicó todo, nos enseñó toda la casa y todo lo que teníamos a nuestra disposición. La casa es preciosa y está muy bien equipada, todo limpio y ordenado. El entorno es inmejorable, en medio de las montañas, y además está ubicada muy cerquita de la entrada al parque natural del Parrizal, con lo que no es necesario ir en coche si se va a hacer la ruta de las pasarelas. La única pena fue no poder quedarnos más días, pero seguro que repetiremos y lo recomendaré a todo el mundo.

Mi estancia en Cueva La Loli, solo la puedo calificar de excepcional. Adriana es una gran anfitriona, antes de la llegada me mandó información muy útil, y al llegar me explicó el funcionamiento de la casa. La cueva es auténtica, excavada en la montaña, dentro se mantiene una temperatura estable de unos 18-20 grados, está decorada con mucho gusto, todo limpisimo, con menaje en perfecto estado, y utensilios de sobra en la cocina. Para mi, la joya de la casa, han sido los dormitorios, con colchones excelentes, ropa de cama calentita, al estar en la parte mas profunda de la cueva, el silencio y la oscuridad total, hacen que se duerma en total calma y armonía. Adriana me dejó muchos detallitos para desayunar, incluso para tomar un vinito. La terraza es estupenda, con vistas excepcionales, paisaje despejado, sin edificaciones delante, hay algún vecino en las cercanias, afables y buena

Este fin de semana he tenido la suerte de alojarme en una casa rural sencillamente espectacular en Alcalá del Júcar, y no puedo dejar de recomendarla. Desde el primer momento, la ubicación me dejó sin palabras: las vistas al pintoresco pueblo colgado en la ladera son, sin exagerar, de las mejores que he visto nunca. La casa combina a la perfección el encanto rústico con todas las comodidades modernas. Limpieza impecable, decoración cuidada y un ambiente acogedor que invita al descanso. Además, cuenta con una terraza desde la que ver el atardecer es una experiencia mágica. Ideal tanto para una escapada en pareja como para ir con amigos o familia. Tranquilidad, naturaleza y belleza en estado puro. ¡Sin duda volveré!

Staying at the cave house in Mojácar was an absolute delight! From the moment we stepped foot into this bright, clean, and classy abode, we knew we were in for a special treat. Nestled in the heart of Mojácar Pueblo village, the location couldn't have been more perfect, with a myriad of restaurants and bars just a leisurely 5-minute stroll away. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the unparalleled hospitality of our host, Paris. Their warmth and understanding made us feel truly welcome and at home. Despite any unfortunate events caused by us, Paris remained gracious and accommodating throughout our stay. My husband and I cherished every moment spent in this enchanting cave house. It exuded a unique charm that left us feeling pampered and rejuvenated. Without a doubt, this experience will remain etched in our memories for years to come. Thank you, Paris, for making our stay in Mojácar an unforgettable one. We can't wait to return!

Este alojamiento es muy tranquilo y tiene todo lo que puedes necesitar, llevas la comida y te la puedes hacer en barbacoa o en la cocina, la piscina con jacuzzi es muy agradable para pasar el calor. Aparcas entre arboles a la sombra y el pueblo esta a 5 minutos en coche.

La casa es estupenda, la realidad supera a las fotografías. Decoración minimalista con muy buen gusto. Las vistas desde los ventanales al arroyo son espectaculares, hace que te sientas dentro del maravilloso paisaje. Las camas son muy cómodas. Disfrutamos mucho con los canales de música de la tele y el sonido envolvente de su altavoz. La limpieza inmejorable. Está muy bien ubicada cerca de la entrada del pueblo y de todos los restaurantes y del arroyo, que más se le puede pedir… Tiene una mesita con una silla en la entrada de la casa ideal para relajarse. Todo el conjunto hace que haya sido una estancia maravillosa. Recomiendo la casa sin ninguna duda. Seguro que volveremos.

We loved the cave house and the pool. Manuel gave us a choice of two houses, and gave us a tour around the museum and the caves. He also took us and another couple to see the sunset in the Badlands which was an amazing place, which was reached by driving along a Rambla. The house was equipped with everything we needed.

Pauline was a great host. Welcomed us in person and showed us around the house. The accommodation was spotless and very well equipped. We enjoyed playing table tennis and boules. We took cycle rides to the nearby villages and went wine tasting at local vineyards. We walked round the nearby lake where you could also go kayaking or paddle boarding. The beautiful town of Eymet was only a short walk away. And when the sun came out we lay by the pool

Rafa is hands-down one of the best posts I have experienced. His gracious hospitality was superb – demonstrated in remarkable attention to detail throughout the home, care to ensure everything was perfectly set for a smooth and restful welcome, and proactive local tips to make sure I had what I needed. RAFA was also exceptionally responsive and gave many local recommendations throughout my stay – even setting up some beautiful experiences on my behalf. His home is a unique mountain respite – perfectly demonstrated by the photographs and lovely in every way. Very grateful for the week I spent at LaRocca. 🙏🏽

We loved the cave house. very comfortabele and special withe a nice terrace with a great view on the Alhambra. The walkings were great. In the neighborhood are several flamencoshows to see (also in a cave) with good food. Downtown Granada is a beautiful walk with halfway a lunch. We loved the cavehouse and recommend it to anyone who likes a special stay instead of a common hotel. Thank you again Chandra!

This is the 2nd time booking the villa. Both times this year and last year we had a very lovely time here. Host is friendly,responsive,vila is clean and spacious,well equipped with everything that you need. Stunning views day and night(from inside the house but also from outside.)Just Wow!Extremely beautiful place and area. Kids had a lot of fun in the swimming pool,also us the adults we enjoyed every second. I love this place is stunning,relaxing with views to take your breath away,every corner you turn,just amazing.
