Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Idylwood

My sister and I took a week trip to DC for a music festival. We absolutely loved being guests here! It’s a nice cozy apartment with everything you need. They provide the listed amenities and more, with amazing organization and labels! It’s a great spot to catch several bus routes and the nearest metro is a 12-15 min walk away. It was indeed the perfect spot to stay at if you plan to travel around the dmv area. Leo and Diana are very attentive to messages, responding quickly, and will check up on you! Thank you for being such amazing hosts, and if anyone is making a fun trip to DC for any occasion, I highly recommend to stay here!

We had a great stay in Arlington at Keaton’s adorable place!

This place is truly a hidden gem. I have family in the area and loved the convenience of staying nearby but having space for my family. The host was responsive and easy to work with. My wife generally prefers hotels, but even she loved it!

This was a gem of a stay in a great location. Close to shops and restaurants but felt secluded and serene. Easy for those needing to commute to DC. Felt like a home away from home.

this place was perfect for my 2.5 year leukemia follow up. I had four very large, very heavy bags because I was in transit to another country for a three month stay. I was able to look each bag, one by one, from Theresa’s place to the hospital in about 10 minutes per walk, plus time in the gate house. If you need a place close to the NIH for your visit, don’t hesitate – it’s perfect.

Isabelle's place was a perfect for a mother daughter trip to DC. The Airbnb was as described. It was easy access to the metro. The apartment had all of the necessities including mini fridge, washer, and dryer. I would stay here again when coming to DC.

We had a wonderful stay at Shafia’s place! We enjoyed the area and rode the Metro from the Franconia Springfield station into DC. This was a great place to come back to at the end of the day. Beds were comfortable and the space was perfect for us. (Girls’ Trip!) We visited AmThai close by, Mount Vernon, Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant, The Library of Congress (tickets in advance), Zaytinya (reservations), the National Portrait Gallery, Virtue Feed & Grain (reservations), Old Town Alexandria, Old Town Books, the Swiss Bakery nearby, Barca (reservations), and Tous Les Jours Bakery & Cafe. Very comfortable and easy to communicate with Claire! Just like the photos. Extremely beautiful, quiet, and peaceful neighborhood. Couch and largest bed extremely comfortable. Loved being here. For accessibility, there's a fully paved walkway from the driveway to basement entrance, just a few wide stairs with a very solid handrail. Well lit. Bathroom is two toilet rooms adjoining a central shower room (all connected with pocket doors). You walk through the daybed room to reach the common spaces.

This was, I believe, our 5th year staying at Kate’s. Always comfortable - always spotless! In fact, this is by far the cleanest Airbnb we have ever booked. Kate is a very responsive host as well - super helpful with any questions we have ever had! We will continue staying here for our annual NIH visit as long as it is available to us! This was a short-notice trip, so our options were limited. We were fortunate that Diana & Vivek's place was available. It was more expensive than we're used to, but it was well worth it! There was great communication before and during our stay. The house was spotlessly clean. What really made it stand out was all kitchen stuff: spices, tools, snacks, drinks. I ended up needing to bake cupcakes & everything I needed was there except the mix, eggs, and frosting! The neighborhood was quiet - just what we needed. The backyard was big & beautiful, too. We'll happily stay there again if it's available when we travel to the D.C. in the future.

We brought a small group of high schoolers to visit DC as a way to reinforce some of our studies from the year. We had 3 adults and 5 teenagers. This house was the perfect set up for this trip. We put the boys downstairs with an adult and the girls upstairs with adults. Each floor is set up as a full apartment, so we had no issues with feeling cramped. Each floor also had a common area/living room space where we could gather for talks, activities, meals, and hang outs. We were all very pleased with the cleanliness and layout of the space and would definitely recommend it for small groups or families.

Overall we had a great stay - however, the sleeping arrangement for the 3rd and 4th person was not up to the mark. The pull out in the drawing area, which doubled up as the bed, wasn't roomy enough for 2 adults. Wifi logging in took sometime - Kelly was prompt in resolving this issue. A dishwasher would have been welcome. We would conclude by saying that it was a very comfortable stay and thanks Kelly for the thoughtful supply of coffee, dish wash liquid, and fabric detergent liquid.

The place was great! Very clean and comfy for a great price! Chet was a very effective communicator and made sure that I had everything I needed! Would gladly stay here again.

Overall very good place to stay and good value! LeeAnn was very good with communication and tailored to our needs. She was very accommodating.

My daughter will be having a baby soon and have been looking for a place close by for when I visit. This is it!!! It is affordable, clean and decorated beautifully. So relaxing, usually I can't sleep well in hotels but slept well here.

Comfortable quiet condo. Across road from a playing field and walking trails. Comfortable bed, good shower, extras ( food staples, umbrella, tennis rackets etc ). Abaad very attentive, and responsive. ( watch his getting to condo video- 3rd out of 4 buildings, entrance at back ). We felt like we had a new friend in texting and speaking to him . We stayed 4 nights. Would recommend.

Love this clean calm space-the balcony was wonderful. Mark was super responsive, checked in on us and we had everything we needed-especially in the kitchen. Great location for walking to restaurants and stores. Will definitely stay again!

Great apartment! Sean’s apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is completely quiet at night and the bed is good. There is a good vibe in the neighbourhood and the apartment is less than five minutes from a Green Line metro station that will take you directly to the best art museums in the city. Sean and his co-hosts are very helpful and responsive. I hope to come back to Washington one day and if that happens, I will definitely try to book Sean’s apartment again. Great space in a perfect location in Old Town. Starbucks on the same block, Trader Joe’s quick walk, close to King Street and the water. Place matched pictures and I would love to stay there again when I’m in the area.
