The apartment is on the first floor of a small house with a quiet cul-de-sac location between the old village church, a Gulfhof and only 4 minutes' walk to the harbor and the ferry to Ditzum. Enjoy the wide view from the dike to the Ems estuary and the Dollart. Fresh sea air included. An ideal starting point for your excursions to the islands, Ditzum, the Krumhörn as well as the East Frisian cities of Emden, Leer and Aurich.

Sie liegt am Auricher Stadtrand und ist damit sowohl stadt- als auch naturnah. Die Wohnung hat alles, was ihr für einen erholsamen Urlaub nahe Nordseeküste und Wattenmeer braucht. Fühlt euch bei uns wie Zuhause!

A vacation for the soul on an East Frisian farm

We live on a farm in a quiet secluded location in the middle of East Frisia with our cattle, horses, chickens, dogs and cats. Shopping and restaurants are 2 km away. And plenty of bike paths to worthwhile destinations - swimming lakes, open-air museums, climbing park.... We'll be happy to give you tips. For our guests there are two bedrooms to choose from - a single bed and a queen size bed. We are non-smokers and ask our guests to refrain from smoking inside the house.

Experience your vacation at the historic farmstead Ippenwarf. Surrounded by the Fehntjer Tief, the apartment is in a secluded location in the middle of the countryside. We live on the farm ourselves and are available at any time. The house was newly built in 2022. The apartment can accommodate up to 4 people. There is a double bed and a sofa bed. You have the option to rent a canoe directly from us, go on long bike rides or walks, fish on the property and much more.

The tiny house has a cozy high-quality sofa bed, cupboards, TV, as well as fridge, kettle, induction stove and coffee maker. When the weather is nice, you can relax in the garden in the hammock or in deck chairs. For one to two people. Small, but special! Ideal for resting and relaxing.

The cottage is located in a quiet cul-de-sac location on the Ihler Meer. Shopping, pharmacy, the monastery of the Ihlower Forest, as well as the swimming beach of the Ihler Meer can be reached in a few minutes on foot or by bike. Ihlowerfehn is an ideal location to explore all of East Frisia. Various coastal regions can be reached in about 45 minutes by car. In the immediate vicinity is a restaurant with beer garden as well as a beautiful playground.

The listed house was extensively renovated in 2020/21 with a lot of love. The tastefully furnished house has lost none of its charm and originality. The approximately 60 m² attic apartment is located in a well-kept, listed townhouse in the city center of Aurich. The pedestrian zone as well as sports facilities with De Baalje or the harbor area are within walking distance. Close to shopping (food, drugstore). The proximity to the coast and the swimming lake Tannenhausen are perfect for day trips. The apartment was newly expanded and equipped in 2015/2016.

The bookable

The Buchbar is bookable and is an original Mongolian yurt that stands in a 2000-square-meter natural garden. It immediately takes the guest to another distant world and lets him sleep, as in a palace from 1001 and a night. In the book bar there are approx. 200 picture books for the little guests and a substantial book box for adults to browse, view and read and to borrow.
