Located in the middle of Toyama Prefecture, it is convenient for sightseeing in the east, west, south and north. To the east is the Tateyama mountain range, Niigata prefecture, to the south is Nagano, Hida Furukawa in Gifu prefecture, Takayama, Gokayama, to the west is Ishikawa prefecture, and to the north is Toyama city and Toyama bay, so you can get to the sea in about an hour. Spring begins with new greenery, fuki no to, plums, and a variety of wildflowers bloom, and there are the blessings of nature. There are many flowers in the garden in May and June, so please enjoy a walk. It is hot in summer, but there is a river breeze and many trees, so the shade is cool. You can also enjoy fishing in the Shintsu River that flows right next to the house. In autumn, you can also experience harvesting chestnuts, persimmons, etc. In winter, there are days when there is a lot of snow. For those who are not familiar with snow, shoveling snow will make you sweat, but I think it's fun. I hope you enjoy making igloos and snowmen. Within 10 minutes on foot from the south exit of Takaoka Station. It is a new single-family house that opened in March 2023. The Maruna House is operated by the Maruna Group, which operates two restaurants. The entire house is for rent. Not only the building, but almost all the furniture and appliances are brand new. Free parking for 8 cars. It is a private building, so you can enter and exit without seeing anyone. There is a washing machine. Longer stays are also possible. There is no trouble eating because the restaurant and accommodation are next to each other. How about soup curry for lunch and Genghis Khan for dinner? The bath is equipped with a device called enzyme bubble bath, which has a skin-beautifying effect. In addition, it is equipped with ceiling bath audio, so you can take a bath while listening to pleasant music that envelops your body. The beds are four Simmons semi-double beds. It can accommodate up to 8 people. Pajamas, a full set of amenities, towels, bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, etc., everything you need for your stay is provided. Even women can stay with empty hands.

Wakuku, a detached house on a hill in Owarano, Yao-cho, Toyama Prefecture. Meals available (extra charge).

"Yoko's Inn Wakuwaku" is a "separate" inn adjacent to the creative home cooking restaurant "Wakuwaku", limited to one group per day. There is a private entrance. The first floor is a living space with a dining table, and the second floor is a bedroom. From the window, you can see the vast rural landscape and the Northern Alps Tateyama mountain range in the distance. Guests can optionally have breakfast, dinner, etc. (breakfast 1,000 yen, dinner from 2,000 yen. Please ask). Features of this inn include songs and saxophone performances by the owner couple, a wood stove experience, a barbecue in the garden, and calligraphy lessons (extra charge).
