The well-appointed room includes authentic Mexican hand-woven furnishings, streaming TV, free WiFi, a coffee maker, an in-room minibar, a stocked pantry for purchase, handmade millwork and decor, and curated bath amenities, like handmade robes from Oaxaca.

The Desert Rambler Suite is #1 and is the largest of our 5 rooms at Spin & Margie's Desert Hideaway, a quiet oasis retreat on 29 Palms Highway, less than 5 minutes from the center of Joshua Tree. This spacious suite has a queen bed, complete kitchen with oven and large fridge, and a small second room with a double bed. Situated on 2+ acre private grounds with a beautiful pool. Peaceful, secluded, yet close to Joshua Tree, 29 Palms Highway, the National Park, and other local attractions.

Sakura House (Room 1)

Private room, entry & bathroom. Queen size bed. FOOD IS NOT AVAILABLE at this time. We have growing traffic on our main road; winter & spring, especially Feb-April events, bring staggering amounts of visitors to PS, as well as rains, flooding, & road closures, routing large vehicles down our street. Our guests love it here but we had our first complaint so noting it for light sleepers & those seeking ample quietude.

It includes a queen bed, smart TV, closet, refrigerator, and bath with shower complete with unlacquered brass fixtures and our signature 29 tile floors. A design led motel in the near Joshua Tree. Wake up with desert light pouring in, enjoy the best hikes then end the night with delicious food and cocktails at Kitchens Dessert.
