We had a lovely weekend get away stay. The dome had all the necessities as well as a sauna. Lots of wildlife too.

From booking to checking out, this was a great experience. The location was amazing. The place was clean and very welcoming. Thank you for the treats and the Tim’s coffee was an extra bonus. The bed was so comfy and the pillows were just like home. It was exactly what we needed and would highly recommend this place I. The future.

Another great stay. The kitchen has all the amenities you would need. The place is clean and welcoming with comfortable beds, lovely big bathrooms. But the best part of the stay are the evenings out on the deck watching the ever changing views across the Minas basin over to Cape Blomidon where the setting sun provides spectacular sunsets every evening and if you’re lucky you’ll catch sight of the bald eagles that live nearby

Beautiful spot! Although the weather wasn't great it was peaceful and relaxing. Our kids fished all weekend and loved it. The house was beautiful and clean. Chris was always responsive to questions. Great stay!

My husband and I had a lovely time.the water was beautiful,we loved the deck swings.everything was very clean and tidy.good communication.

We had a wonderful stay at this property - 8 family members on a girls weekend! The house was beautiful, better than the pictures. The kitchen/living room/dining room space was ideal for games, cooking and lots of fun. Everything was so clean and ready to use. Kim was super responsive with any questions I had and everything was really smooth. I would stay here again! It's useful to note for prospective guests - there is a 1-bedroom guesthouse directly behind the main house which does lie between the house and the yard/view, so it didn't feel quite as private as I thought it would be. But - we were there on a rainy weekend, so our group and the guesthouse renters stayed inside all weekend and it was like they weren't even there! I would suggest if you are renting this space for outdoor space, it might not suit those needs. Overall a lovely place to stay and we had a fabulous weekend.

My family had a wonderful stay here. Very neat and clean, plenty of room for 8 people, and Dorreine was incredibly responsive and helpful at all times.

There aren’t many airbnb’s that meet or even surpass every expectation that was set by the listing! Myself and my family had a very comfortable, and quiet trip thanks to Anick and her beautiful property. Everything from the beds being extremely comfortable, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful outdoor/lake front property. Thank you so much for the beautiful stay! We will surely be back ☺️

Shobac farm is a unique architectural and farm experience. It was great to have gaffs point and Hirtle’s beach within hiking distance. The sheep were a constant fascination for our pup. Appreciated having access to a lap pool, steam shower and sauna. Thoroughly enjoyed having a wood fire and enjoying and vast country side views from the gatehouse.

We had 7 people travelling together and this place had all the room and amenities we needed. Big kitchen to cook in, great common area to relax in together and a fabulous view of the lake. It was early in the season so too cold to use the pool but it looked like it would be great. Thanks for having us!

The cottage in Hubbards was ideal for our stay. My daughter loved the little playground behind. Everything was clean and it was an extremely relaxing stay. Thank you for your great place and kind discussions whenever we passed each other during the days!

PAM &J.P on été extraordinaires. Nous avons été ravis par notre séjour et sommes tombés en amour avec la Nouvelle-Ecosse. Les animaux étaient un extra inattendus. Gustave va beaucoup s’ennuyer de Maple. Petit commentaire QUI N’EST PAS UNE CRITIQUE. Le réfrigérateur n’est pas très grand alors, ne pas faire une trop grosse épicerie à chaque fois. Nous sommes arrivés avec trop de choses et tout ne rentrait pas. Mais encore une fois ce n’est pas grave. Il y une épicerie pas tres loin. Ça se fait très bien. Faut juste pas prévoir trop longtemps d’avance si vous avez une grosse famille comme la mienne. La piscine est extraordinaire!!!!! Près de pleins de belles plages . Nous avons passé un super beau moment en famille!!!

Fantastic hosts. Dream heritage property with total privacy and a heated pool in a park like setting; we booked that property pretty much every year for the last seven years. Rob and Barb are constantly improving the property, there is always something new to discover, whether it's a new appliance, or a brand new landscaped river frontage inviting you to sit and watch river and ocean life whilst sipping a glass of tasty red provided with the welcome basket. We enjoyed eating out at the Lunenburg restaurants, as much as we enjoyed cooking a delicious meal at their place, which is fully equipped, one can easily cook up a gourmet meal. Golden! David’s property overlooking Shad Bay is a gem with a wonderful view! The kitchen was well stocked, and he even provided a dozen eggs, juice and bread should one desire a hearty breakfast to cook on a two burner induction hot plate. The kitchen, while large, is not designed to cook full dinners. The bed was very comfortable. David’s decorating style is eclectic with a good dose of contemporary mixed in with traditional furnishings and the art taking center stage. David greeted us upon arrival and we spoke with him every morning. We had delightful conversation. A highlight for us was interacting with Molly and Peaches, a small poodle and a large doodle. We would highly recommend David’s accommodation!

Absolutely stunning home! Well stocked and maintained. We were very happy with our stay! The hosts were wonderful and very responsive. We had one small issue which was handled very quickly and smoothly!! Thank you for a lovely stay! Highly recommend!

The property is truly amazing! The views were spectacular, the host was very friendly and quick to respond, and everything was very clean. We had a group of 12 and had plenty of space. The hot tub and sauna are wonderful additions and added to our experience. Alicia is a superb host and I highly recommend staying here.

Our stay at Mallard at Church Lake was fantastic! The A-frame design is stunning with beautiful decor throughout. The kitchen setup was perfect, and we loved using the outdoor grill for lakeside meals. As birding enthusiasts, we added many new species to our Life List and learned fascinating details about mallard duck behavior and life cycles. The location is a nature lover's dream. What really set this property apart were the excellent accessibility features (wheelchair ramp, no-threshold shower, seamless floor transitions, etc., which accommodated our disabilities. The hosts were communicative before and during our stay, making everything seamless. We enjoyed canoeing and paddleboarding during the day and incredible stargazing at night under clear skies. This property offers the perfect blend of comfort, accessibility, and natural beauty. We'd absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to other travellers, especially those needing accessible accommodations!

We were in town with our 11 and 13 year old boys and this was the PERFECT spot for kids! The boys played basketball, went to the beach, did some kayaking, used the bikes & scooters. We also took advantage of the bonfire pit each night. This is a fantastic spot for families with plenty of activities to keep you busy both outdoors and indoors (tons of different games available to play). The only suggestion I have is that there be more pans to use. We had one small pan for the weekend which was challenging when cooking large meals for 4 people (we had to cook bacon, clean the pan, then cook sausages, clean the pan, then cook our eggs for example). Other than that TINY inconvenience this spot is well worth the money! Ethel was extremely responsive, friendly and welcoming. We felt right at home and will likely return!

We really enjoyed our stay at Emerson’s trailer! It was in a perfect location overlooking the beach! It was within walking distance to Cleveland beach and about a 5 min drive to Queensland and other beaches. The trailer its self was in good working condition and very clean . There were tight corners in the bathroom and bedroom but that’s to be expected with a trailer so we didn’t mind at all. We do have a few suggestions for the trailer: my partner and I were looking for baking sheet pans, a cheese grater and mixing bowls to make our meals with. As well as more comfortable lounge deck chairs to sit outside longer. By incorporating these kitchen items and chairs this would allow guests more options to cook in the trailer and sit outside to take in the view. Overall, Emerson was very friendly, helpful and responded quickly. We highly recommend his place and we hope to return soon!

Beautiful layout. Felt like a five star hotel. Nature trail right out our door very very clean! Amazing!

I had a lovely stay at David and Nancy's cottage. The cottage was roomy, spotlessly clean and fully equipped (the kitchen had a few items in it that I don't even have in my own kitchen). It was comfortable and convenient and David and Nancy were responsive, kind and generous. I would definitely stay with them again the next time I am in Hubbards. (I'd come back just for Nancy's homemade chocolate mints!)

Everything was fantastic . The place was clean and comfortable. Definitely will return. Highly recommended.
