The space is really beautiful with its pool and gazebo. I felt right at home. We really enjoyed the place and the house. There were four of us. Roberta and her husband were always attentive to every need. I recommend it 100%

We had a very delightful and relaxing stay at Hannes’s beautiful home overlooking gorgeous Lago Maggiore. Swimming in their pool was a definite highlight and was a refreshing treat during the hot days. The home is very well-appointed and comfortable. The gracious outdoor seating and mature plantings were lovely. Hannes and his family left very clear and friendly instructions about our stay and info about the surrounding area. Everything was thought out very well. Everyone we encountered in the surrounding towns was warm and welcoming. The nature is breathtaking. Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven with us. We had an uplifting and joyous visit! It’s a special place and clearly a lovely family!

House equipped with everything you need (from detergents, to dishes, to linen,). Kitchen stocked with everything, both in terms of dishes, glasses, etc., and in terms of the food needed for cooking (salt, sugar, oil, spices, coffee, tea, etc.) Fantastic swimming pool and whirlpool

Thank you Kristina for the lovely time we had at your place! It was exactly what we needed! This is a must-book. Kristina is a very friendly, proactive and involved host. The accomodation is fantastic. The salt water pool is kept squeeky clean by Kristina (every day she cleans it herself). The view from the pool is fantastic. We had our 11 month baby with us and Kristina provided all amenities we could wish for: quality cot, quality baby chair and some really nice toys! Although the house is a bit remote, there is a lot to do within a 15 minute drive. One of the cleanest lakes in Italy is a 10 minute walk from the house which is lovely as well.

Luciana is a great friendly and communicative woman. She was always quick to respond to our messages or questions. The house was perfect for us: my parents and brother slept in one apartment and my husband, our sons and I in the other. The weather was very nice, so we could sit outside a lot. We had little to no trouble with mosquitoes and there are screens all over the house. In less good weather, the seven of us would have been in one space that would have been somewhat cramped. It is possible, but I would have found that too tight for an entire week. Please be aware of this. Within a 5-minute walk you will find the small supermarket of Edoardo. This incredibly friendly man goes out of her way to help you well. This has worked very well with some words in German and almost no English and a very nice, cozy daily contribution to our holiday feeling. When you walk in the evening from the fence towards the chapel, you have a chance of a beautiful sunset overlooking Lake Orta.

Access on the day of arrival was super uncomplicated and very easy. Then take the elevator directly to the terrace and therefore absolutely no tinkering when lugging suitcases. The view is out of this world! Such a panoramic view is very rare on Lake Maggiore. That alone is worth the money! The place was very clean, from linens, kitchen to bathrooms, all tiptpop! A heated pool with also fantastic views of the Lago and Isola Brissago... Just a dream... We will definitely be back....

We felt comfortable in Umberto's quiet and well-kept apartment. The co-host Silvia is very helpful and available at any time. A special thank you to them. The surroundings offer a lot of beautiful, very practical for different activities. The terrace with the beautiful view of the lake is perfect if you don't want to do anything.

Anna’s place was wonderful for our family - we felt super comfortable and at home. We loved the view from each of the balconies, where we watched fireworks almost nightly. The kids loved playing in the yard and watching deer munch on grass in the yard at times. Anna went above and beyond for both us adults and the kids with little gifts upon arrival, which made us feel super welcome. The location was also perfect for a base to explore the region and access to restaurants was very convenient. We would definitely return and highly recommend Anna’s place for anyone looking for a place in the Como area. Thanks again Anna for your hospitality!

Grazie Marco for an exceptional stay in Orta San Giulio! This was one of the best experiences (from Airbnb or even hotels) we’ve had. Marco was incredibly responsive and communicative, and very kind. He picked us up from Malpensa airport, and even drove us to Milano after our stay. We were travelling with our toddler and Marco very kindly coordinated with the child car seat rental provider to have the seat ready for us. The apartment is in a quiet area that is super close to the piazza. Upon arrival, Marco provided water, local beers, and local biscuits that were delicious. The apartment was incredibly clean, tidy, and nicely decorated. The kitchen was equipped with everything you might need, and the coffee was great! Details like the lovely bath products and slippers, really made our stay stand out, as well as Marco’s hospitality. We would absolutely recommend Marco’s place for your stay in Orta. We would love to come back and stay in Marco’s other property! Grazie mille!

Another great find in Sesto for both work and pleasure. Emanuele's place is ideal for one or two, close enough to everywhere but very well equipped throughout; not to mention some great little treats. I will be returning.

Paola is a super host, she makes you feel right at home, including our 2yr old border collie. The lake view at the flat is the highlight of our stay. The little personal touch provided by Paola is the added bonus on top. The garden and the surrounding hikes and lake is absolutely amazing. We enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommended

Naomi's cottage in the forest is a dream! Equipped with everything you need, even to cook yourself, and beautifully located. Naomi was super sweet and even provided us with a small welcome gift! All in all, a wonderful place to Relax, explore Lugano and its surroundings or the surrounding mountains! I'm sure we'll be back!

Our stay at Paolina’s home was absolutely blissful! As beautiful as the listing photos, they could not do justice to how gorgeous the home is. Every detail is so thoughtful and beautiful, from the windows to the linens. Paolina was so lovely, kind, and helpful during our stay and picked up our bags at the train station so we could explore the town before the house was ready for check-in! She also took all 6 of us to the train station when it was time to leave, gave us local recommendations, and spent time talking with us all on check-in. She was always very responsive via text, and connected us with a friend of hers who runs boat tours of the lake (a highlight of our entire time in Italy!). Every moment at the Green House was so peaceful, and the only thing I would change is that I wish our stay could have been 10x longer! I highly, highly recommend, and can’t wait to return someday!

We had a great stay at the house. It felt like what AirBnB was originally meant for - staying in a lived-in actual house instead of a sanitised holiday home. It is well equipped inside and out and you won’t stay in a better location. It is right on the lake for swimming and water sports, but also a short easy walk into town.

Valter welcomed us in a very friendly way and took the time to show and explain everything in detail. The house has a wonderful, beautiful and quiet location right on the lake. Great for relaxing, swimming and good opportunity for active hiking. Valter and Sofia were there to help us and gave us great tips for things to do and good restaurants! Can recommend the accommodation. Apartment is well equipped and functional. Linens and kitchen towels are provided. Also garden furniture and Wi-Fi.

Unfortunately, a few hours before our planned visit to Borgosesia a war broke out and we couldn't leave Israel! It's hard to describe how disappointed we were, especially after we had such good communication with Fabrizia, who was so friendly and helpful, and made us really look forward to our stay in her flat. When we informed Fabrizia we had to cancel our visit, she was really empathetic and understanding, and made sure we recieved our refund from Airbnb. We will definitely come and stay with Fabrizia as soon as possible, when the situation improves and we can travel again. Thank you, Fabrizia, for everything, and hopefully we'll see you very soon!

Although, the traffic is a bit loud in front of the house, the town and people were charming. I'd definitely go back. the house is very large and comfortable. the entry courtyard is gorgeous.

Highly recommend 🙂 super comfortable home, with the best host ever! We came for 3 nights and felt like it wasn’t enough to explore all the lakes and hikes in the magical area. The house is a dream house, so beautiful and chill. Thanks a lot ❤️❤️❤️

Sandra is a super friendly, accommodating and helpful host who is always available. There was even a dog bowl filled with water ready for us when we arrived. The apartment itself and the location are first class. The view of the lake from the apartment and also from the terrace is unique. Access to the second apartment in the house was cut off, so that no one could walk past the terrace. This point was criticized in another review, but no longer applies. It's very private. The apartment and Sandra as a host are highly recommended. We will be happy to come back.

Top cottage, very close to nature...really great! The path to the cottage is a bit unpaved, but doable without problems....you should take as little luggage as possible as it can only be reached on foot! We had a great time there!!

Amazing apartment and amazing host. The apartment on a next level its very clean and big and has all the things you need and more. The details of arranging the apartment was spot on. Addition to that the hosts were very friendly and helpful from the moment we reached until we left. My family and i had a great time we will definitely book again in the same apartment if we come back to como.

Chiara is a five-star host. We used the apartment as a starting point for a day trip to Stresa and the local islands and were very happy with our accommodations. The house was very clean and the kitchen seemed well-stocked (we were only there for two nights so we didn’t use it much). Cozy place, great communication, wonderful recommendations for what to see and do. Only downside is the lack of walkability, but it was a very short drive for a night out in Arona and less than an hour to Stresa. Recommend wholeheartedly.
