Mayo Glamping - Nead na Spideoige (hobbit Hut)

rebeccaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Oh my goodness, we had an absolutely wonderful time in our hobbit holes! They were so cosy and comfortable, and the hot tubs were just the cherry on top. It was so peaceful and private, and the fire outside was simply magical! The only thing that could be improved would be a bit more info about the shared amenities, like the kitchen. There were plates and cups that we could use, which was a real treat. We absolutely loved our stay! Thank you so much for everything, and we’ll definitely be back!

May Glamping - Roisin Bui (Hobbit Hut)

EoinRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Stayed in one of the hobit huts and it was brilliant. The experience was not what I expected, from sitting in the hot tub, to going back to your hut to sit by the fire. Was so peaceful and relaxing. Will definitely be back!

A very charming spot with a friendly, helpful host. Cabin was plenty warm, pizza was delicious, and bathrooms/kitchen spotless and had everything you could need. We would love to come back and stay longer, and take advantage of the hot tub!

Sheep farm hamlet wow views lake mountain, sea.

JohnRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Peter’s cottages were spectacular. The property is like nothing any of us had seen before. Stunning vistas and landscapes from the living room in the main cottage made for a perfect gathering spot for our whole family. The three small children in our family group especially loved seeing the sheep come and go every day. The beds were comfortable and the property had everything we needed for our stay. Take the drive up the mountain nice and slow! One of the most special places in the world!

Stunning thatched property: Nanny Murphy's Cottage

JohnRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I can not say enough about my family’s visit with Michael at Nanny Murphy’s cottage! This was a special visit for me as I always wanted to stay in a thatched roof cottage like the ones my grandparents left behind when they immigrated about one hundred years ago to the United States. Certainly, upgraded from my grandparents’ cottages, Nanny Murphy’s cottage did not disappoint with a rustic theme blending the old with the new, in a peaceful rural setting. My family had several hearty meals around the table in front of a warm peat & wood fire and slept well after several full days of activities throughout the area. Michael is a terrific host who guided us to the farmer’s market in Carrick-on-Shannon, small pubs with local hospitality and great Irish music, The Shed distillery in Drumshanbo, a visit to Sligo and Yeats country, and a hike in Knocknarea, amongst visiting other sights. If you are seeking an experience of peaceful rural Irish life, Nanny Murphy’s cottage and Michael is the
