We had a lovely stay at Frances’ place. Frances was very kind and responsive throughout our visit, making everything smooth and easy. The house was nice, clean, and well prepared for our arrival. We really appreciated the warm hospitality and would definitely recommend staying here!

A lovely house in a lovely setting

We have just spent a marvellous week at Grainne's holiday home. It is indeed a magical place with beautiful sea views and within walking distance of Baltimore village/harbour. So much to explore around this historical area and beyond. Did day trips to Sherkin Island and Garnish Island (which is about an hours drive away), a hike to the iconic Beacon is a must. Great restaurants and a small local pub nearby all serving brilliant seafood and the freshest fish. The house had everything we needed, very well equipped kitchen. Lovely comfy beds and lounge furniture for relaxing and reading or just admiring the view! Best of all was that there was no television...fantastic to get away from the outside world for a while, give the head some peace. Cant wait to revisit West Cork again. Thank you Grainne for all the great local information and suggestions and for being so responsive and friendly.

We had a great two day stay at Veronica’s. Youghal is beautiful and we loved being able to walk into town and the beach. The house had all we needed and communication was always prompt and helpful. We would highly recommend.

Amazing location by the sea, lovely to watch the island ferries coming and going from the pier, from the comfort of the sunroom. We were unlucky with the weather but the views of the wild sea were stunning and the house is very spacious, we never felt cramped, even after a few days of being indoors. It’s a very well-equipped house and so relaxing, not burdened with loads of rules, just a few basic sensible requests. And it’s dog friendly, always important! Nicky answered our few queries promptly. Looking forward to staying again, the sooner the better!

Located in a private forest, Finola's estate is a living history. It's my first time staying in such an old building. A quiet country road takes us into the woods, then the fountain welcomed us, just like entering an elegant Victorian film. The house is equipped with all modern facilities and even a bathtub. The first day, the wifi was not functioning, but Finola helped promptly. Minor flaws: the cups were not cleanly washed, and providing toiletries would make it even more perfect.

This place is a gem. The view and area are breathtaking. The house feels like a family home and we were instantly comfortable. We were traveling with our family, which were a group of 10, and we were very comfortable. The view out the kitchen window will have you wanting to do dishes all morning. Instructions for everything and and easy check out process. Rathmullen has a great restaurant 10 minutes down the road. There is also some great sights like the lighthouse 30 minutes away and The Way of the Cross. Letterkenny is 30 minutes away for shopping, eating out and any other need you have. We will never forget our special time here, and neither will you.

Keith made everything so easy from start to finish. The house is lovely & cozy. We were down for a wedding in Gloucester house. It is a really good location for Gloucester as it is only a stroll away. Would highly recommend Valhalla.

we couldn't recommend this fabulous accommodation enough. It is set in beautiful surroundings with spectacular views. The property is everything you need and more. The rooms are all excellent and we had a choice of relaxing spaces to chillout in. Fantastic location with great space both inside and out. We met John who was lovely to chat to and pointed us in the right direction for activities to do etc. We will definitely be returning 😊

Beautiful view of the sea and very spacious house. Dave was extremely responsive and made us feel right at home. Location also very close to a grocery store, coffee, food, etc.

Karen’s house was just what we needed. We were in Ireland for a wedding and were traveling as a family with small children. There was so much room to spread out and we had everything we needed. Thank you Karen for a wonderful experience!

Our stay was fantastic. The house was wonderful, nicely designed with lots of space. The beds were comfortable & the bedrooms had ample space. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies & the kitchen table was big enough for a large crowd Deidre was so very helpful & kind. She helped us with securing transportation to Galway one day. She gave us tons of suggestions for activities & restaurants. The house was perfect.

This is a love song to Atherlow Castle. Our family of 6(all adults) stayed for a week and didn’t want to leave. We truly felt at home. There’s plenty of space for everyone to have their privacy in the castle but there was still such a comfortable feeling. The grounds are lovely, with the nicest looking herd of cows I’ve ever seen peacefully grazing on impossibly green grass. Freda and Declan were quintessential hosts! Friendly and unobtrusive with adorable bouncy dogs. The area, as described by a local tea shop owner we struck up a conversation with, is real Ireland not tourist Ireland. All of the major sites are within driving distance but the local area has hidden gems. We have stayed in wonderful Airbnbs all over the world but Atherlow Castle won my heart.

An elegant house in a truly beautiful location. Our whole family (toddlers to grandparents) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lough Hyne. Tim, the property manager, could not have been more helpful and responsive to any requests. Missing it already and definitely would stay there again another year!

Incredible house and surroundings. Definitely the nicest place I have ever stayed in. We all had an incredible weekend here in Westport. Rachel was an excellent host and gave us great local recommendations of things to do and places to eat. Breath taking views out over the bay from the house. Would definitely stay here again if we returned to Westport.

Myself and my friends came for a relaxing stay in west cork and that is exactly what we got. Beautiful surroundings and furnishings in the home with ample space for the 8 of us. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub in the evening time! Brian is a fabulous host and was really helpful and made checking in and out a breeze. A fabulous bank holiday weekend!

We had a great stay here. the house was a great place to hangout with friends with the hot tub a bonus. the mancave with pool table and big screens was great for sport and hosts were responsive and flexible. very enjoyable stay

We had an amazing stay. With lots to do locally like visiting Garry Kennedy Harbour, hiking Millennium Cross Trailhead and with an Aldi only 15 mins away to stock up on supplies. We really loved to relax in the hot tub after a day of adventure. The pool table and massage chair where are nice way to chill out at the end of the day. In the evening we lit the outside fire pit and watched the sun set over the Lough. What are you waiting for, get out there and explore. Ps, the gravel road up to the villa is steep and might put some people off the experience.

Germaine and John were amazing hosts, they created a really lovely atmosphere throughout their home . They were hugely helpful in every aspect of my stay. They opened their home to us staying there and were flexible and facilitative of all my needs. They were warm, good humoured funny and sincere.
