Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Irun

We had a good stay, and most importantly would stay again. This is very much an airbnb flat with comfortable beds, nice shower, washer / dryer, and basic kitchen. The location is what makes it stand out, and the easy access to the city made the slightly funky living room and small kitchen unimportant. The hosts were great communicators, with clear check in instructions and great parking tips. We had some issues during the stay- -partying neighbors having a jam session from 1-3am, part of Saturday night in a city and it’s a very old building. - this unit shares an entry way with another unit that’s also managed by this host. The guests staying in the other unit were smoking inside and the smoke filled the entry way and flowed into our unit. The hosts asked them to stop, which they did for a short while, and then started again. Luckily we only had one day crossover, but was unfortunate. The hosts did their best

The apartment is well situated with an easy 15 minute walk to the beach or old town and right next to the Cathedral. Lots of nearby restaurants too. Jon was extremely accommodating of our late arrival.

Very good stay at Odile's, the accommodation is very clean and well-equipped, ideally located on the quiet heights with a beautiful view of the Rhune, and within walking distance of the city center. We will be happy to come back to continue exploring the Basque Country!

Kontxi and Xabi were very welcoming, and we were made to feel at home immediately. The apartment is beautiful, with amazing views of the hills. The garden was safe and secure for our 4 year old to play, with a trampoline and swings to keep him amused. There were some food essentials provided which was appreciated after a day of travelling. Kontxi provided many local recommendations in San Sebastianand the surrounding area. Our favorite part was being so close to the green path which stretched up towards the hills and to San Sebastian, which was perfect for early morning runs before it got too warm. The bakery close by and the fresh milk machine (milk pasturised that day!) Were also highlights. As users of AirBnB for many, many years, we agreed that Kontxi and Xabi were the best hosts we havd had. We would love to come back.

We were met with very friendly and welcoming hosts, Felipe and Elena. We immediately felt at home in their beautiful spacious house, garden and terrace. It's situated close to everything, the beach, the town, restaurants etc. it's all in walking distance, which was great for us and our 2 dogs . Also it's only a short drive (or take a train) over to Spain . There is so much to do. Staying in was also a treat with the terrace with bay views watching sunsets and the secluded private garden with BBQ and lovely garden lights or just simply lazing about sunbathing on the sun loungers. Our stay was a complete joy from start to finish , no complaints whatsoever. Thank you so much Felipe and Elena for your kindness and for our stay in your wonderful house. Laurents was a great host. He allowed us to check in early and gave us restaurant and activity recommendations. The apartment is well laid out, with lovely views and a nice pool in the complex.

Perfectly situated on a pedestrian street above a delicious bakery. Central to everything. Very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

Just like the photo. Excellent stay for 4 of us. kids took the bunk bed and couple took sofa bed. Owners are always reachable and very kind. park your car in the front. Easy to go anywhere. Nice view,many sheeps in the front. even though it is close to the road. we heard nothing, plus a comfortable sofa bed, what else? Thanks a lot

This is a lovely apartment in a very special place. Really cosy and comfortable with wonderful buildings all around. Great bars and restaurants on the doorstep too. Alvaro was really helpful getting us settled and providing lots of tips on the locality. He helped us find a parking spot and took us to the apartment - you have to park your car a few minutes away. Parking is scarce so once parked we didn’t move the car. Not a problem as we were only here a couple of nights and everything is walkable. Highly recommended.

Clean, well-equipped accommodation close to all amenities. Igone was very precise in the information given about the operation and the situation of the apartment.

A traditional building in the old quarter but the flat itself was very modern and in excellent taste. The old town was fascinating but the newer streets towards the Marina were also lively. Great recommendations for eating out and we tried most of them.

We spent a few very relaxing days in Silvia's apartment in Hendaye. The accommodation is located at the end of a quiet street with no through traffic - perfect for switching off and relaxing. Everything was very clean and well equipped, so we lacked nothing. We felt completely comfortable. The beach is also easy to reach - ideal for walks or a day at the sea. Thank you, Silvia, for the wonderful time!

We had a lovely stay. It is a very quiet and serene place ideal for a peaceful stay. The accommodation was extremely well-equipped and ultra clean! Very responsive, welcoming and kind host. We recommend 100%.

Mikel’s place was very nice and very clean…had everything we needed. The view from our balcony was a bonus. Coffees in the morning, watching surfers , wine in the evening and beautiful sunsets. We would definitely stay here again if we ever visit beautiful San Sebastián again! Thank you Mikel

We had a great stay here, it was in the perfect location and the apartment is lovely! The hosts also went above and beyond to help me when I lost a precious item as I am not familiar with the area!

Helen kept us well informed of where to park and arrival instructions. We arrived later than expected due to car issues and she arranged for a lovely helpful friend to meet us. The apartment was immaculately clean and well equipped, with everything that you could need plus lots of extra touches. There was milk, Beer, water and soft drink in the fridge which was appreciated and plenty of tea/ coffee and condiments if needed. The apartment was spacious and everywhere smelt clean and inviting. I would not hesitate to recommend staying at Helens place
