It is also about 30 minutes to Kanazawa, and has good access to the World Heritage Site and Shirakawa-go. I have Eabikes, , so even if you don't have a car, you can enjoy this area. Opened on October 1, 2016!(The second store, Makotoya Ohjin, opened in May 2024.) It is a traditional Japanese house in a very convenient location. It is about 3 minutes on foot from Takayama Station and about 5 minutes on foot from the old town. When you enter the house from the front entrance, you may feel as if you are in an old Japanese house. You can also enjoy the "horigotatsu" and "open-air bath".
