Holiday rentals with an accessible-height bed in Islands

We had a really great, relaxing time at the apartment from Stavros. We enjoyed nice evenings on the big terrace and being able to walk along the seaside to the old part of Rethymno in just 15minutes. We also really liked the location of the apartment around the corner from the beach, the supermarket downstairs and the bus stop down the street. Stavros gave us a very friendly welcome and even recommended great spots for food and activities.

Fully equipped house, clean, and very easy parking. We will definitely repeat our visit. Thank you very much!

Located on the first floor above a good bakery, the one-bedroom apartment corresponded to the photos. The balcony has been larger than expected. The friendly landlord provided us with good products from his garden. The price/quality ratio was right.

Really great location, next to Monastiraki square. We were expecting to use transit more, but the location made literally everything except our transfer to the airport walkable. Our hosts were super communicative, which made any bumps that much easier. I’d definitely stay here again!

Very nice accommodation! The interior of the house was very cozy and very cool for the heat of the season. The yard is very boho and perfect for hanging out with friends in a very quiet neighborhood and if you miss something you can walk 20-30m just across the street where there is a Supermarket (Sklavenitis). Although the house already had what it needed from basic necessities. We did not have time to enjoy all the comforts of the house as we only stayed 4 nights and the only thing that made it difficult for us was the otherwise very nice bed on the floor due to the fact that my wife was pregnant. We would definitely choose the accommodation again for family holidays in the future!

We had a wonderful stay- apt was as described. Very clean, had all amenities plus more. Another big plus is the location - we walked to all we wanted to see and do - major sites, restaurants and museum. Highly recommend.

Blissful stay to explore Athens. With the tram and metro nearby, it was very easy to commute between all parts of the city. The apartment is tastefully decorated (I love the Vintage style). Since it is the back of the building, you will not be bothered by the tram that passes in the street. It was very quiet. Definitely recommend!

We thank Basileios and the other Hosts for their hospitality and support. We didn't meet them, but they were always ready and available and gave us help and helpful suggestions for our vacation. We are happy to have chosen this apartment, because it was a great home of reference and we felt comfortable. The apartment is located in a strategic area, also to get around on foot and easily reach the most central and characteristic neighborhoods of Athens. At the same time, it is quiet, spacious, with balconies on 2 sides, on the sixth floor and there is no noise. It is equipped with everything you need for a pleasant and satisfactory stay: the kitchen is complete and equipped with everything, the bathroom has a large shower, the beds are comfortable and the living room well cared for and original design. Our stay lasted 5 days and we were able to easily visit the historic and beautiful city of Athens. Thanks again to the Hosts, congratulations and greetings!

Excellent stay as always!

I stayed with my wife and two daughters for 3 days, we felt as comfortable as if we were in our own home. There is a market on Saturdays, we shopped there. It's very close to the subway, within walking distance. If you want to be close to both the center of Athens and the beaches, this place is very successful in terms of location.

We had the best time staying at the apartment. We were two adults and a child and it was perfect for us. Everything was exactly as in the pictures and the apartment is even bigger than I expected. Especially the beautiful patio. The small kitchen is well stocked and we had everything we needed. One can hear the road, so just bring your earplugs if you think it may bother you. There are mosquitoes nets and shades/curtains on all the windows which allowed us to keep them open at nights and sleep longer in the mornings. Other than the apartment itself, Pinelopi is the best host I have ever met on Airbnb. She took care of everything we needed, even before we asked. We felt right at home with her and we're very sad when it was time to go. We will always be happy to come and stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay at Marios’ place. He was a great host—always responsive and helpful both before our arrival and throughout our stay. He was also incredibly flexible, kindly allowing us an early check-in and late checkout, which made our trip even more relaxing. The house itself was spacious, peaceful, and had everything we needed. Super comfortable and perfect for unwinding. It’s a remote location, which is exactly what we were looking for—no nearby restaurants or supermarkets, but that was by choice. Athens was just about an hour’s drive away, which made for a perfect day trip. We didn’t end up going to the nearby beaches, but the pool and direct ocean access were amazing—refreshing and private. Quiet nights, beautiful surroundings… exactly what we hoped for. Only small suggestion would be to improve the internet speed a bit—but other than that, it was perfect. Highly recommended!

A lovely apartment in a great location. Supermarket nearby, restaurants galore, easy walk to acropilis and plaka, and a good host. We highly recommend!

George was the perfect host. The place was accurately described, and we were steps from the beach. The mini market was a minute away, and the owner along with David were very helpful, too. George was responsive and there within 15 minutes when the front door blew shut and locked us out with our key, and phones inside. Such a pleasant man, we would definitely go back and stay at his properties. The people were so kind everywhere we went, and we terribly sorry to leave Naxos and Agios Prokopios especially.

The location was amazing, we didn't have to take any public transport as almost everything was in walking distance. The place was perfect, we had 11 people and we all fit great and everything was easy to use. Great communication from the hosts as well, they were so helpful!!

Spacious apartment, sparkling clean, comfortable beds, supermarkets, ice cream and restaurants in few steps, Evangelismos metro station 5 minutes walk and bus station 2 minutes walk to go to the city center. Constantine provided lots of useful information and recommendations. We were greeted by Nina, very charming, and they left several complimentary stuff for us. Thank you Constantine and Nina. A fantastic base for exploring Athens! From the beginning, Kostis was an incredibly pro-active host and he was key in making our stay so enjoyable, smooth and stress-free. His recommendations are excellent, and he was really helpful in arranging reliable taxi drivers and guides. He is truly a super-host with clear, accurate and timely communication. The apartment is conveniently located close to the main areas and historic sites of Athens, everything very accessible on foot (and also steps away from public transport). It is very clean and thoughtfully decorated, with comfortable beds and all amenities should you wish to self-cater. However, there are so many great places for coffee and food close by if you want to experience wonderful Greek hospitality! It is also very quiet and peaceful even in such a central location. I highly recommend staying at this apartment, we will certainly choose it again for our next visit to Athens. Thank you Kostis!

That was a nice stay. The host was friendly and proactive in communication. All amenities are new.

Vasili's place was great. Better than advertised. Great kitchen and bedroom and very close to downtown. Vasili was also super easy to get a hold of. He answered everything super quick.

Leah's apartment was perfect. Just a 3 to 4 minute walk to the metro and 5 to 6 stops to downtown Athens. It was exactly as described and pictures were accurate. She was quick to respond to all of my messages. I didn't have any Euros on me yet and she drove me to a bank to use the ATM. She then drove me around the neighborhood and showed me her favorite places to eat and get coffee. We ate at a few or ordered in. There is also a cute bakery near the metro. The house does smell like cigarettes but that didn't bother us. If you have asthma this might affect your stay. This is Leah's personal home, which I liked due to her making extra money and not supporting a company who buys up properties and forces locals out of home ownership. If we ever make it back to Athens we would 100% stay here again. Thanks again Leah for a great stay!
