Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. E' raggiungibile con i mezzi di trasporto pubblico : gli autobus C30 C31 C32 con partenza ogni ora circa dalla stazione ferroviaria Como San Giovanni , Como Lago Ferrovie Nord o da Piazza Matteotti in direzione Como- Bellagio, impiegano circa 8 min per raggiungere la fermata Blevio - Decorazioni Savio, distante 100 m circa dall' abitazione. Alternativa piacevole al trasporto pubblico tradizionale può essere l'uso dei battelli della navigazione del Lago di Como, con partenza da Piazza Cavour in direzione Torno, da dove camminando per circa 15 min raggiungerete la destinazione. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

Wij waren op doorreis naar Le Marche en de tussenstop bij Claudio was perfect. op een paar honderd meter is een klein supermarktje waar je ook enkele maaltijden kan halen. Vlak daarnaast is ook het Parco Comunale waar onze zoon van 2 lekker kon spelen. Er zat zelfs een bar bij die van 8 in de ochtend al open is voor koffie, broodjes en later op de dag ook een borrel. Helemaal top! Claudio is een aardige vent en spreekt een prima woordje Engels!

Ausgezeichnete Apartments. Sehr sauber, Küche voll ausgestattet.sogar auch viele spiele für unsere kinder.Das Bett ist bequem,Schöne grösse Balkon. Wir schätzten auch die freundliche Begrüßung und die freundliche Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber(Daniela), der hilfsbereit war und uns alle Informationen gab, die wir brauchten. Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt. Es war so schön dekoriert. Ich fühlte mich wie ein Einheimischer, der in der Gegend lebte, und nicht wie in einer gewöhnlichen, langweiligen Ferienwohnung. Tolle Erfahrung. wir kommen sicher wieder.

We held my brother's bachelor party at this villa. We were seven guys, and yet spending an entire night in such a large, well-equipped, functional, and welcoming villa didn’t feel expensive at all. The villa is perfectly suited for hosting more than seven people. The equipments are good, complete, and everything is in place to ensure you have an excellent stay. There were signs of life in the villa, so naturally a few minor damages occurred. But nothing that would prevent you from having a great time. On the contrary, everything that’s supposed to work, works perfectly. We were all extremely satisfied with the villa, located in a quiet yet lively little area. Denis is reachable by messages and replies very quickly. It’s very convenient if you have any questions, he’ll be there to answer them. Thanks for the villa ! :)

We had a wonderful stay in this place. The location is perfect to visit Como, Varese, Milano,… but we also enjoyed staying at home in the nice garden with swimming pool. Also, the bedrooms downstairs are nice and cool during the hot days.

Luca’s place is great! The area around it is filled with cafes and restaurants- we highly recommend the biscotto gelato across the street! As the apartment faces the back, it is super quiet. The apartment was clean, and the bed/bedroom comfortable with blackout shades to help sleep. The shower is large (walk in), although we had a drainage issue on our last day. We informed Luca upon checkout, so hopefully it was just a temporary issue. Luca is very responsive, and was kind enough to let us check in early after 24 hours of travelling! Check out was quick, and instructions were clear. We were in Busto Arsizio for a sport competition, and I’m glad we chose Luca’s place!
