Masaki goes above and beyond making sure you have a great stay. The house is super clean, comfortable, has everything you need and a little extra. She is in constant communication providing local events and things to do that will add value to your trip. Beds are very cozy. We enjoyed our walk from the house to the train station, and from there its easy to get anywhere. Daiso and a supermarket it's just 5 minutes away from the house, a bakery vending machine just 4 minutes away, or you can shop along the way walking from the station. Highly recommended. I honestly don’t know where to begin. Staying in Keiko’s home was truly one of the greatest honors of our time in Japan—it was a highlight of the entire trip. From the moment we walked through her door, we were immersed in Japanese culture. Keiko greeted us with warmth and kindness, making us feel immediately at home. She patiently guided us through everything, showing us how to use her space with care and respect. Her home is a reflection of her spirit—graceful, serene, and full of beauty. I was deeply moved and inspired by her presence and generosity. Being invited to take part in her traditional Japanese tea ceremony was an experience I will never forget. She took the time to teach us the rituals and meaning behind each step, explaining everything with such clarity and heart. This is a simple, clean comfortable place near the metro station with great connections to the heart of Tokyo. The place is very clean and comfortable and has all amenities one needs for a comfortable stay. A complimentary pocket wi fi device to use in the city was an unexpected bonus. Highly recommend this place.

Kenji is a great host who is very responsive. Due to flight delays, we didn’t arrive until close to midnight and he was kind enough to stay up and show us in. Definitely check out the black spa as per his recommendation. He has bikes that you can borrow to explore the neighborhood.

Awesome place, stayed here with my wife and 7-month old baby daughter for 16 days. For this amount of time we wanted a larger place and for us the slightly longer commute to the main attractions of Tokyo was worth it. Ryota provided us with a playpen, a high chair and a baby bouncer which were all very useful. The bathroom has a full size tub which made it very easy to give our baby a bath. The upstairs tatami room was where we slept and was very nice with the skylight. There is also a room on the ground floor with a western style bed. There is a washing machine and equipment to hang dry clothes. There also a nearby coin laundry with drying machines. Kita-Akabane JR station is a 10-minute easy walk. Very close by is a large grocery store which we went to often as the kitchen is well equipped and easy to use. Overall a great stay if you are looking for a spacious place in Tokyo. It is a quiet, residential neighbourhood and it really feels like you are staying in a home.

A true gem, a great stay with a fabulous host! Hitomi and Taka are the best hosts, who go out of their way to ensure our comfort and we have everything we need. The house is well supplied with all of the necessities. They offer many great recommendations around the neighborhood and are always quick to respond to any questions. First and foremost, they want to ensure an enjoyable stay. The apartment is very cute and comfortable, and was perfectly prepared for our arrival. Good heating and cooling, perfect for any season. With the tools in the kitchen, it is convenient for meals. Plenty of markets nearby for fresh food. Great shower and bath! And the washer/dryer is helpful and convenient. The neighborhood is fantastic, quiet but with many restaurants and markets nearby. It is an easy walk to transportation. Akabane is a big station to go easily anywhere in Tokyo. It was a pleasure to stay and we will be happy to return to the great hospitality of Hitomi and Taka. Thank you!

Stayed at Yume's place for a week. Location is great, not very far from subway station, quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. Big supermarket (AEON) just a few minutes away. The house is next to the highway overpass, but it's barely noticeable at night. The house equipped with all amenities needed for living. It has two rooms, which was very useful for us. The room layout is a little unusual (kitchen appliances in one room, but the sink is in another), but overall it was convenient. There is hot water in the bathroom, but you need to wait until it gets warmer.

The area and the place is amazing, during our trip this was our most special apartment, we really felt how it would be like to live in Tokyo.

Chie is very friendly and her place is in a great location—ideal for two. A more local neighborhood, not filled with tourists, so perfect if that’s what you’re looking for.

This place was fantastic. Walking distance to the Warner Bros Studio Tour and train station. The host was fantastic. Making sure that we got there safely and helpful when we got lost in Tokyo. Checkin was easy. The bedding was comfortable, especially the pillows. We have stayed in other hotels in Japan and the pillows were really strange as if there were pebbles or beans in them. These pillows were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

this place was an amazing place to stay super easy and convenient to the subway stations lots of great restaurants near it and the house was very attentive to our any of our questions or concerns I would definitely highly recommend staying at this property I will come back in the future

This apartment is well located and Ikebukuro is a great base. We enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is spacious by Japanese and the balcony and rooftop a special bonus. Note the two single beds as we would have preferred an option.

The place was very nice and perfect for a family of 4. Very close to the Oyama station (9 min walk) and market basket grocery store (2 min walk). The place was clean. Although the kitchen was small but it worked for us. We even cooked full meals for our kids without much problems. Overall very satisfied with the stay.

Good room with a nice shower. Everything you need to discover Tokyo (Shinjuku). The host is also a nice man and communicates well.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The clear instructions provided made check-in a breeze, and I was welcomed by a friendly staff member who kindly assisted me with my luggage. The place was impeccably clean, equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. It was pleasantly quiet, and just a 5-minute walk to the subway station.

Superb stay in Shimokitazawa. We really loved the area (enough going on but not as mental as Shibuya). The apartment was a great base for a few days and the tub was a bonus. Thanks, would stay again ⭐️

The apartment is clean and spacious. It is actually older than the picture shows, but this does not affect its usability. The shower is particularly good and comfortable. The location is okay: it is less than 5 minutes from the nearest station and about 10 minutes from another station. It takes about 30 minutes to reach major areas in Tokyo. Communication is easy, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. Thank you.

Sik is a great host. He was waiting for us, explained everything and solved any questions in seconds. The place has everything you may need. Coffee, tea, tooth paste, soap and softener for the washing machine. The dryer worked well. All super clean. Super recommended!!
