Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, blessed with forests, lakes and snow in northern Nagano Prefecture. Nearby, there are many natural sightseeing spots such as Kurohime Highlands, Lake Nojiri, and Togakushi. A building from the development era, it has been stylishly renovated using plenty of natural materials such as pure cedar, hinoki cypress, and plaster. We also focused on the interior and kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy "living". In the winter, when it is completely covered in snow, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the snow-covered landscape. You can follow animal tracks on snowshoes and go on a snowy picnic, or enjoy a bonfire and BBQ in the riverside house in winter. There are also 7 ski resorts within a 30-minute drive. This area is famous for its powder snow, and is also a great base for skiing and snowboarding. There is also a birthday cake service for guests celebrating birthdays and anniversaries. The trees in the garden are dyed in bright red and yellow, and you can feel the highland breeze in autumn. When the silver world comes, you can calm your mind in the soft warmth and silence of the wood stove. Located in the middle of nature, it is also within 30 minutes by car to Togakushi and Zenkokuji, famous places where you can experience the history and culture of Nagano. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

You can spend comfortable time with your family or group. A microwave, a refrigerator, a washing machine, a cooker, and other daily necessities are provided. There is a seafood market, ramen shop, and supermarket in the neighborhood. There is a kitchen in the room, where you can buy fresh fish and cook for yourself.

Kuri Chalet is suited for a couple or a family of 4. Located between Suginohara & Ikenotaira ski resorts. The open plan area on the second floor, gives access to the entrance room area, the kitchen, dining & living area and bathroom downstairs. While upstairs leads to two separate traditional Japanese Style rooms. Easily accessible by car to 4 of the local ski resorts. A all wheel drive car is recommended to get the most out of your visit, parking is available.
