Enjoyed our second visit with Antony and Gonzalo. Had stayed 6 weeks in 2019 and became friends with them then. Made it a point to spend 3 nights with them on this trip and it felt like old home week. Antony is very knowledgeable about architecture and grand British homes so he can offer advice on where you may be able to see historic buildings and interesting houses. We hope to visit with them again on any future trip to England.

We only came across Lily’s place a few days before we travelled after being let down by a late cancellation elsewhere, but ended up feeling like we had ended up with somewhere even better than where we had originally booked. Lily was extremely helpful with great communication throughout. She offered us early check in and didn’t rush us to check out either. The cottage itself was ideal for us and our children - comfy beds, plenty of space, everything cleaned and finished to a high standard. We were touched by all the additional extras - milk in the fridge on arrival, pain au chocolats for breakfast, good coffee and hot chocolate available and grateful for the use of a highchair so we didn’t need to bring our own. Our children slept brilliantly (better than they do at home) which enabled us to enjoy an excellent and very reasonable takeaway from the Greek restaurant next door. We had no issues or complaints at all and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others.

I had the pleasure of staying at Maison Christo property in Sittingbourne for two months, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The 3-bedroom house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, offering everything I needed for a longer stay. The location was peaceful yet conveniently situated, making it easy to get around town and access local amenities. The space felt like a true home away from home, with thoughtful touches throughout that made all the difference. A special mention must go to our host, Selina, who was incredibly accommodating and responsive throughout the entire stay. She made the check-in process seamless and was always available if we had any questions or needed anything. Her warm hospitality really added a personal touch that made the experience even better.
