Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Jackson County

This is a beautiful home with all the amenities! It was pristinely clean, smelling great, but not overpowering at all! Easy to check in, I had one little snag with the Ring alarm system, but Nicole and Damion responded quickly to help. The beds were comfy, pillows too, even though I brought my own. No ceiling fans in the bedrooms, but there were these wonderful oscillating desk fans that did the job just fine! I liked sleeping with it on so much, that I may have to get one for my own room! The TVs had many subscription services already signed in and available with a profile for Airbnb guests so that was nice. Shampoo and body wash was even provided! The view from the deck and the huge living room windows was awesome as well! Plenty of space to relax! Loved this home! Thanks for a great weekend!

I was only going to be in town for a quick trip, and Jaims place was actually cheaper than a decent hotel where I was staying. It was so unique and different which I loved. It genuinely felt like I was staying a grandmas lake house. My friends and I had the best time and really enjoyed how peaceful it was. The communication was great. We messaged Jaims when a dog showed up out of nowhere and she was super responsive and helpful. 10/10 no notes! Will definitely come back again.

Beautiful backyard. Best sleep of my life on the mattress they had. House was perfect for what we needed and the host was incredibly responsive.

We loved our stay at Ashwood House! It was so clean, spacious, and well stocked with all the essentials. We sat by the fire each night on the cozy patio furniture and walked down the street to the Wildflower Cafe to eat some delicious meals. We hope to return next summer. Thank you!

Beautiful home! Perfect for a weekend with family and close friends. We loved that the home was walkable to the top of Desoto Falls but also only a short hike to the bottom view via trail. The loft and top rooms were magical and absolutely perfect for our tween kids and us parents loved the screened porch and outdoor firepit. Thank you for sharing your wonderful place with us. We also appreciated how clean it was and the basket of welcome snacks. Five stars!

We loved staying at this little cabin get a way! Exactly as described. Perfect for rest and relaxation! Loved listening to nature and the rain sitting on the screened in porch! Beds extremely comfortable and all linens/towels were very nice! For the price, it can’t be beat and exceeded our expectations! We will be back!

The cabin was nice and clean. The hosts were friendly when contacted. Had trouble with WIFI. Hosts gave us the password to the cabin across the driveway so that was fine. Good experience overall. We love the large walk-in shower with good water pressure which was a pleasant change for most places we have been. We’d recommend this cabin to a stay at for a couple or small family.

I can’t say enough good things about this place!!! It was absolutely adorable and just like the pictures. Inside had everything you would need for a nice stay. To me, what makes an airbnb great is a comfortable bed, air that blows cold, and feeling safe there. This place had all 3! This was my first solo trip so if I felt safe anyone will. The cabin is connected to another house but I had no issues with the guests there. I got the privilege of meeting Claire and she was so kind! If i’m ever in the area again this is the place i’d stay!

we loved our stay at the Yurt! It was exactly what we wanted! We enjoyed the hotub, pool, volleyball court, basketball court and the petting zoo! We also did the hiking trail across the street where you can visit AL, GA, and TN! Just be prepared it is very steep and you’ll feel very accomplished once you get to the top! My only complaint is we had many flies in our room, I believe they were coming from the 3 bags of trash that sat outside of the yurt hopefully this was a one time thing!

We loving staying in this apartment when we visit Mentone! Always so clean and cozy! You can’t beat the rates either! Will continue to book with them!

After we got passed Airbnb giving us the wrong code to enter the apartment we had no further problems and enjoyed our stay. The co-host Lorraine was very helpful. The train and highway traffic were annoying but, tolerable. We prefer more of a country setting. This apartment was in the suburbs so it was close to amenities, which was a positive aspect.

Claire and Bryan's place was, simply put, wonderful. It was spacious and comfortable, and we particularly loved the roomy screened porch (we ate a few meals out there and enjoyed watching the rain). It's convenient to DeSoto State Park (we spent a few days out there hiking) as well as Little River Canyon National Preserve and Fort Payne. Mentone is a neat little town as well. We hope to return soon and see more of the area, and definitely will look to stay at Claire and Bryan's place!

Everything was great

This was a wonderful apartment and a lot bigger than we expected! It is beautifully decorated and the couches and beds are very comfortable! Loved having the loft for the kids to sleep in, it was a big hit! The apartment was very clean which we appreciate! Joy is very conscientious and made us feel at home! Even helping with our little missteps without complaint! We really appreciated the little flowers and decorations we found around the home made it feel special! There is plenty of parking and the neighborhood is beautiful! We recommend this place to everyone!

The view was gorgeous. We made a fire every night and watched the sunset. The cabin is very cozy but roomy enough for 4. The kirchen was well equipped. The location is central to many places. Taylor was very helpful when we got a little lost. Her response was quick and easy to follow. We will be back.

Very nice little cabin. Comfortable and clean. Cathleen communicated well, let us know exactly what to expect, and there were plenty of recommendations for things to check out in the area.

Chad was super friendly and helpful. I went to this cabin for my bachelorette weekend and the girls and I had an absolute blast. We slept 7 extremely comfortably. The cabin is right on the Mentone strip but tucked away enough for a peaceful stay. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and a nearby park. Beautiful scenery and beautiful, cozy cabin!

Suzan's place was a awesome getaway for a vacation. I stayed for a week and never had one issue. spotless house everything worked perfectly. I will definitely be back.

Had a fantastic stay at Johnson’s fish camp! The cabin is very well stocked and clean. We cooked a lot of our meals on this trip and the kitchen was great. Paul, the host, is very responsive and friendly. 10/10 value and experience. Genuinely wish I could just tote this cabin around with me wherever I go, can’t wait to come back!

If you’re lucky enough to stumble upon this place, don’t hesitate. Tucked away at the very top of the mountain, this little getaway feels like a secret slice of peace & beauty. The views? Absolutely breathtaking. You can see everything—rolling hills, distant valleys, endless sky. It’s the kind of view that makes you stop & just breathe it all in. The cabin itself was perfectly cozy, with the cutest bear-themed decor that gave it a warm, welcoming charm. Every little detail was thought through & it all added to the peaceful, secluded atmosphere we were craving. It was exactly what we needed: quiet, beautiful, & grounding. We left feeling rested & full of gratitude. Highly recommend for anyone needing a reset.

Me and friend stayed here for a kayak fishing vacation. We enjoyed the view\access to the lake, fire pit, comfortable beds, and it felt like a home away from home. The lake is amazing and we caught a ton of fish each day we went out.
