Pet-friendly holiday rentals in James Bay, West Bay

Wonderful stay, place is beautiful, clean and cozy. Sophie went out her way to make us feel welcome. 20 min away from downtown Victoria and close to a nice beach.

It was a perfect place for two couples. Quinn checked in to ensure that we had no issues and responded quickly to any questions. It was nice to have our own parking spot. Location was excellent and in a very quiet area. We had a vehicle so restaurants, grocery stores and liquor stores were only 5 minutes away. There was a coffee shop a five minute walk away. Exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for a three night stay. And beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend and we would stay here again.

Beautiful location very close to local beaches and a 10min drive to Sooke for a wide choice of restaurants and shops. Very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, very thoughtful welcome pack from Tess and large sofa with enough space for 4 adults. Beautiful views across the sea to Washington State on a clear day. The wildlife was an unexpected joy with deer and rabbits regularly on the grass in the mornings. Also worth a mention if you are a light sleeper, with the windows open, the birds are quite chatty from first light. Such a peaceful place to unwind. We will certainly be back and highly recommend to others.

The house at Friday Harbor is perfect in so many ways! The kitchen is well equipped, the bathrooms are well placed, the yard is generous and holds many great games. Our family had a terrific time there! The house is close to town and also close to a number of great attractions. It was easy to explore and then head back to the house for rest. It’s hard to imagine a better arrangement!

With a very well equipped kitchen, beautiful backyard oasis, and only 15 mins from Saanich Commonwealth Pool, this was the perfect stay for my swimmer and me.

We spent 10 days at the fernwood church in june25.Ww had a wonderful stay location was brilliant only 25 minute walk to downtown,property was out of this world.Cant recommended it highly enough greatly exceeded our expectations.Francois was very helpful and availabile if needed,will definitely revisit.

This was one of the most beautiful and comfortable places we’ve stayed via Airbnb. The home is beautifully provisioned and the yard is fantastic. We loved sitting out back listening to the bubbling water and birds singing. The hosts were friendly and thoughtful. We would definitely choose again and highly recommend.

Our family of 8 felt right at home. Everyone having a king bed was very helpful. Kitchen was very well stocked for cooking. Sean answered back any inquiries quite quickly. We highly recommend Sean’s place.

We really loved the quietness and peacefulness of the place. The layout of the house was awesome. The entertainment was top notch. We even used the gym . I would definitely recommend this place if you are with a group of friends or family gathering!

What a great spot! Nestled in the woods in a peaceful and quiet setting this place is truly one-of-a-kind. The house is very unique with lots of character that sets it apart from the usual stays. It was clean and had all we needed. Our host Gramma Rikki was exceptionally warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate, and we could not take advantage of all the outdoor spaces and amenities. We played pool, sat by the cozy fire and did some island exploring by car. All in all it was a very enjoyable and relaxing getaway despite the crummy weather. We hope to return one day and experience everything this wonderful place has to offer.

Derek’s place was very clean and cozy. It was very welcoming and we felt like home when we stayed at his place. My family were very comfortable while staying there and Derek was also easy to communicate wiith. Overall we had a wonderful time.

Four of us from our family had a wonderful relaxing weekend staying at Wayne’s. The house is well equipped, comfortable, and has a wonderful view of the nearby bay. We would absolutely recommend it and hope to visit again!

The street was very quiet. I think there was only one or two other cabins that were being used that week, which means we had a very peaceful stay. We locked out it was also very sunny the entire week. The place was amazing with big windows, it was clean, bright and beautiful. Thank you very much Cheryl. We had a wonderful stay. Angela's place was lovely! We were over for a wedding from Ireland and it was such a cosy and cute spot to stay. I got to meet Angela and her daughter who were so nice! I couldn't recommend this place to stay more, it was so easy to walk to places/uber and was nice and quiet. The apartment looks exactly as described, low ceiling for tall people but luckily I'm 5'3 and it didn't cause me any issues. Angela was so helpful throughout the whole process of booking and stay and I really want to visit again because I loved it there!

Jacky was incredible! Super kind and caring. She brought samosas that were delicious. The place was super cool and the sleeps were the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend.

I loved this place. It was a short walk to Witty Lagoon beach. Very easy to walk to. It's incredibly peaceful at this Airbnb. Saw lots of deer. It is a short drive (about 2 km) to the grocery, liquor store and pharmacy. Quality Foods also features a pub and restaurant with a wide selection of beers. Also, don't forget My Chosen cafe in Metchosin. Broken paddle close to My Chosen cafe has good coffee. Valentina was super nice and responsive. Our bed was very comfortable, and she provided a very comfortable air mattress for my son, who is 6'6''. I like the fact that the bedroom was separate from the living room. I highly recommend this place.

We loved this gem of a cabin in the woods in East Sooke. The hosts thought of everything and the place was in fabulous condition, and was an experience in its own. We spent time in Sooke, whale watching, hiking and exploring. Unwinding in this cabin retreat made for the perfect holiday. The cabin was comfy, and every thing you need to cook and rest was included. Enjoying some time with the goats on site made our kids super happy as well. I would recommend this spot if you are traveling in Sooke! You won’t be disappointed.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Kelly’s suite by the sea! The space was even better than we expected - appears to be recently renovated with modern finishes, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. Kelly was super responsive, helpful, and genuinely accommodating throughout our stay. The location was great, I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free stay!

Nadia’s oceanside coach house is a beautifully and thoughtfully designed living space perfect for us two and our dog, within a short drive to the city, and a short walk to a serene beach down below. The gorgeous garden is a highlight of this lovely airbnb, as well as the welcome bottle of wine (and champagne that the host gifted us after learning we were celebrating our wedding anniversary!) We are very grateful to Nadia for making our first trip to Victoria such a memorable experience.

We had an amazing time staying here! The place is very well decorated and feels like home. We had no issues other than a couple pesky little ants coming out of the kitchen sink drain. From what I know, they are aware of the issue and looking into it. The TV was perfect for some big box scary movies and the local food like Floyd’s Dinner and Romeo’s were to die for!
