Holiday rentals with a fireplace in James Bay, West Bay

Priceless views and amazing architecture are showpieces of this magnificent home that combines coziness, elegance, comfort and rustic charm. We’ve stayed at many airbnbs, but this one is a new favorite. It’s an ideal getaway for the whole family; plus it’s close to interesting hikes and restaurants. The kitchen is well stocked for eating at home. We didn’t enjoy the taste of the well water, but bought drinking water at Tru Value. Carley was very responsive and helpful throughout. We would love to come back in the summer.

Gerry was incredibly polite and genuine throughout our stay, making it truly comfortable and enjoyable. He was very friendly and kind to us as foreign guests, responding quickly whenever we had any concerns. I believe the host's character is crucial when using Airbnb, and this place is absolutely outstanding in that regard. The house was wonderful - everything we needed was provided, and we never felt like we were missing anything. The stylish kitchen and bedrooms made us feel elegant and relaxed every day, and my entire family was completely satisfied. The surrounding area is fantastic - rich in nature and remarkably quiet both day and night. There's a playground nearby, which is great for families with young children. This was our first family trip using Airbnb, and thanks to Gerry, it was an amazing experience. Our son loved the house so much that he cried because he didn't want to leave, so we're definitely planning to come back again.

We can’t say enough about Nancy and Chris’ Airbnb. It was spotless clean, tastefully decorated and all these extra little touches. I’m not sure if it was Nancy or Chris doing the beautiful decorating (lol) but we were impressed! We found the Airbnb quiet and oh so beautiful! We will definitely try to stay here again. The backyard was so beautiful and well kept. Nancy and Chris were friendly and oh so nice. We were in Victoria for our twin granddaughters graduation from UVIC and having a cozy Airbnb like this just added to an already fabulous time. Thank you so much Nancy and Chris. Jenn and Mike.

Miriam was the perfect host. She was responsive and friendly and the communication was excellent. The house is clean, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped- there was even a sharp chef’s knife, which is a rarity in a rental property. The best thing about the house is the wonderful garden and the outdoor seating and dining areas. I loved this house!

Michelle's place was more than we could ask for. This place was pristine with all the amenities you could ask for. It was well situated for our needs. You can't ask for anything more. I would definitely stay there again if the occasion arose. It was exceptionally clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and the towels so soft. I recommend this home as it truly is a home away from home.

Amazing place to stay overlooking Salish Sea. Spent hours looking for seals and whales in the sea. Inside is modern, clean and had everything we needed! Host was incredibly responsive and helped out with all our requests. Thanks Christine!

The place was beautiful, both inside and outside of the property. We had a beautiful garden view, and a small patio to enjoy our Breaky in the morning! The place itself was very large, with a beautiful, modern kitchen. The bedrooms were nice, with one looking out/ opening up to the garden. The host left a nice booklet of all the best places to shop and eat — which was actually very helpful!! The parking was very good, and we even had “spare parking” If we needed it. Overall, very good stay, and we will be booking it again.

Terry's place was great! We had more than enough room to move around and make meals together as a family. We enjoyed the whole space. Terry was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. We would definitely stay there again! Thank you for the great stay!

Great place. It's in a fantastic location surrounded by restaurants, and only a block to Victoria's inner harbour. The unit is clean, modern, and comfortable. It's also on the same level as the building's hot tub and pool. Matthew was very responsive so communication was excellent.

Having stayed at many Airbnbs in multiple countries, this is by far one of the best. The hosts, Vi & Duncan greeted us upon arrival and provided a wonderful tour. The gardens & views are breathtaking! The space had everything we needed and more. We appreciated the recommendations and all the hosts did to make our stay ideal. Loved the muffins! Thank you.

Kristen’s place was wonderful! She stayed in touch and promptly answered all my questions, even during my late check-in. The space has a cool, relaxed vibe surrounded by lush greenery and tropical nature, yet still close to town, restaurants, and the highway. A perfect mix of tranquility and convenience. I’d love to return soon!

Amazing experience from start to finish. Easy, simple and a property that exceeded our expectations. The view is second to none. The place is very comfortable and well laid out inside and out. Everything was awesome and I’d highly recommend a stay. It wil not disappoint.

THe apartment exceeded expectations. It was so spacious, sunny and with a great view of the water. The building was grand and very quiet. It was also near the town of Sidney and ferries going to multiple places. My mother and I both had a wonderful time staying here. Neighbors we met were friendly. It was lovely to sit on the balcony and watch the light change on the water and enjoy the lovely weather we had all week. We were only sorry to leave when it was time to go home!

We were here for a night. We loved our stay, especially the backyard water view. We also spotted deer multiple times. The place was well cleaned and maintained.

Space was rented for a few employees who were working on the area, it served its purpose!

Jennifer's place exceeded our expectations, the home was spotless and spacious and the back garden views were exceptional. Beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped and the walk out patio was lovely. Jennifer and Al were helpful and welcoming, very responsive. Would definitely recommend and return.
