Our 2-bed apartment is in the centre of the village of Balloch, Loch Lomond, known as the gateway to the north. Both the train station and bus station are only a few minutes walk away and nearby numerous walking, climbing and hiking trails. The cultural venues in the cities of Glasgow and Stirling are approximately 30-40 minutes by car. There is a free carpark across the road from the apartment. The apartment is on the first floor above the shops, cafes and bars in the centre of the village.

The beautiful, fairy lit, private woodland garden set high above the River Mar is a special place in which to immerse yourself in nature, birdsong and the blissful sounds of the babbling river. We built our cabin next door to our house. In an old quarry in Bonhill. Loch lomond is a 5min drive away. The cabin has one bedroom with king size bed. A fully equipped kitchen, sitting room with sofa bed, foldaway dining table and chairs. A log burner. Guests will have their own parking area. A decking area with table and chairs. There are some lovely places to walk. Ben lomond. Ben A’an. Conic Hill. The cobbler. Luss village. The cycle path is close by. It runs alongside Loch Lomond.

Cois Loch Lodge is a unique lodge situated in a peaceful setting with magnificent views over Loch Lomond and the hills beyond. Nestled at the end of a private road between Drymen and Balmaha, it has its own private parking and enclosed garden. French doors open out onto a fabulous decking area furnished with a table and garden sofas. A few steps down from the deck sits a tastefully furnished Scandinavian BBQ hut. No matter the weather, you can still enjoy a BBQ!
