For me, a mountain lover and an avid hiker, the Jodongli Alps is a place comparable to the European Alps.   Standing 700-800 meters above sea level, there is also a well maintained forest road that also lets you have a ecstatic taste of phytoncide from the forest. The property is 450 meters above sea level, and it's a 40-minute walk to the entrance to 700 meters above sea level, or a 5-minute drive.   You can also have a light hike that is 5 minutes away by car.  The night sky is great and full of stars. If you lie on a zero-gravity chair in the yard and look at the stars, you can see the shooting stars and dancing fireflies. It's not crowded because it's not a famous tourist attraction or a pension. Take a 360-degree turn in the yard and create deep relaxation and memories in a natural setting where you can only see the mountain. This is a separate house for guests in a rural house located in a quiet rural village 15 minutes by car to the sea of Gangneung. Although the building is connected, it is composed of a separate building with a separate entrance, toilet, and cooking facilities, allowing for an independent stay. Free parking is available in the yard, and there is an outdoor dining area where you can experience barbecue with an electric grill (no charcoal/campfire due to the risk of wildfire). If you come with children, you can also try seasonal activities with the owner couple, who are like a rural grandmother and grandfather. The room is not large, so we recommend a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children. It's narrow for 3 or more adults. We also prepare breakfast with a home-cooked meal like mom's only for those who request it (extra charge). Enjoy the countryside atmosphere and warm hospitality on the way to see the sea of Gangneung.

You can take a walk along the riverside path near our house and enjoy water skiing and paragliding. Public transportation is also available. It's a 10 - minute walk from Asin Station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line. Pick-up from Asin Station is also available.
