Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Jefferson County

We stayed at here with some friends while in town for a wedding. It was the perfect place to relax and hang out in our down time. The place was very cute and clean! Definitely one of our top BnB experiences.

Can't say enough about this one. The pictures don't show the attention to detail and quality of this lovely home. Our group of 13 ranged from infant to preschool to elementary school to adults and older adults and every one of us had a great experience. We planned carefully as you aren't close to any stores, Bring what you need. The kitchen was stocked with nice quality equipment and utensils better than any I have seen. We spent many hours around the table. Sometimes with as many as three different groups playing a game or working on a puzzle. This trip was a blessing to our family. The retreat we needed.

Beautiful setting even in the winter. Well stocked kitchen. The mudroom was very helpful. Ample TVs and places to relax- internet was great. Great communication with host, very responsive to any needs or questions.

One of our all time favs! Beautiful quiet countryside, clean and comfortable, pool was amazing. Easy to find, great communication. Will hopefully be back!

This was our second booking at Mary’s Estate. We had such a nice time during our first stay (September2024) that everyone in our party wanted to go back. We live in Illinois but my Dad is from the area so we have many relatives living nearby, so the location and the size of the house is perfect. Our party of 12 stayed for a week. We had plenty of room to spread out but also lots of room to cook and enjoy meals together. I loved sitting out on the patio in the sunshine during the day and then seeing deer out in the yard in the evenings. Everyone had a great time and we plan on booking again next year. Josh is a wonderful host. He made us feel right at home, once again….

We had a great stay. Large home, lots of space for lounging and relaxing. Multiple covered patios and an outdoor pavilion. We only booked for 1 night but would have enjoyed staying longer to fully enjoy what the space had to offer.

The Stumble Inn provided a great location for a weekend getaway with the boys! The home was private and secluded and everything was there that we ever needed

My fiancé and I just had an incredible weekend at Carrie’s home! Carrie was so friendly and even offered an early check in and late check out since there was no one coming in today so we could truly make the most of the weekend! She gave us a tour of the property and showed us how to work all of the amenities, dropped off a lighter and some cardboard for the fire pit, offered side by side rides around the property, and offered allergy medicine when my fiancé realized he had forgotten his! The house was impeccably clean, beautifully furnished and decorated, and was so comfortable to stay in! The bathroom was so nice and we loved the design of the kitchen! Outdoors was an incredible hot tub, a beautiful fire pit setting complete with firewood, and a nicely furnished gazebo that was perfect to play cards in when the rain came through! Not only would we stay here again, we will be staying here again, and we even joked about how much it would be to just rent and move in full time!

We initially had trouble on our iPhone map finding the location, but the others in our party used google maps and found it fine. Ashley responded right away and called to help us out when we were lost. Loved the comforts and amenities of the house. Unfortunately, it was cold and rainy most of our stay so we were inside most of the time, but the large dining room table allowed all of us to sit and do puzzles and play cards. The only down side if anything was it was close to a very busy road so with kids and a dog out front by the fire it was a little worrying, but ok. Overall, it was a great place and Ashley was a great host!

Great stay for my family of five! My husband, our two littles, and our pup wanted a last minute weekend getaway and Richard made everything so easy! From flexible check in, to prompt communication, he was great to work with. The place was quiet, felt so homey, and had EVERYTHING you could want. Richard even set up a pack and play for our daughter so we didn’t have to bring one. Close to a lot of trails but nothing directly walkable from the house, and most attractions and stores were closed off season, but would be great to come back to in the spring or summer.

This is a beautiful cabin and it was perfect for my husband and myself. It is extremely clean, the furniture and bed are very comfortable, beautiful decor, and located in a quiet and peaceful area. The owner was great at answering my questions and offered some suggestions for local activities. We liked it so much that we've already decided we will look for this cabin the next time we are in the Cooks Forest area.

This cabin is very nice and comfortable, and was a great place to stay when we were in the area for Groundhog Day. It was nice a quiet and had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful stay at the Copper Kettle Lodge. Wayne and Brandy were wonderful hosts. They were very responsive and helpful throughout our trip. I can’t say enough about how great this place was not only was it beautiful it was well kept and extremely clean. It was well stocked and had everything we could have possibly needed. Between the hot tub, game shed, bar shed and fire pit there was always something to do. The location was great just minutes away from so many things the area had to offer. I highly recommend and would definitely stay here the next time.

We had such a great stay at this cozy cabin during a weekend getaway. The location was perfect, just minutes from great hiking trails, shops, and the river. Everything we wanted to explore was close by. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. Doug and Stephanie were wonderful hosts with great communication and helpful info. Thanks again for a nice stay!

While the cabin by the creek is described as rustic, (and it feels that way) there are some important up grades done. One that stands out is plenty of hot water quickly. Their system for hot water is excellent making morning showers easy and fast for both of us. Edward was a proactive host, meeting us on arrival and available by phone when needed or questions arose. The location near the Coolspring Power Museum was super convenient for us and the cabin setting was still private and peaceful. The outdoor gazebo with barbeque was very nice for having friends for a cook-out as well. Both indoor and outdoor type fire wood was provided as well as a spare propane tank should we run out in the middle of a barbeque. We will be booking this cabin yearly.
