The location was beautiful! Close to downtown galena, plenty of things to do around the house. Private and peaceful, if you’re looking for a place to stay out here we recommend this place!

We stayed here while visiting family in the area, and it was a perfect place to unwind each evening. Everything was as described, and we had plenty of space to spread out. The beds were very comfortable, and the place was squeaky clean!

Matthew’s place was very peaceful and relaxing. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet area with lots of of fun things to do within 25min drive. Always very responsi and giving us great tips. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking in that area and already thinking to be back!

Enjoyed our stay at the house. Our dog did very well too. It was a cozy little place to sleep and relax after a few days out discovering Galena. We enjoyed Lola’s ( close by restaurant for breakfast and Lunch…please try their orange cranberry chicken salad)❤️ Vickie was available and kind. We would stay again. Thank you☺️

This was our second time at Jennifer's place and it was just as perfect as it was the first time. We brought our daughters with us this time, and they slept on the pull out couch and loved it. It was the perfect space for our family. The amenities are a plus. We went to the indoor pool at the Owners Club which was nice and enjoyable and we played the board games one of the nights, which were provided. I highly recommend this place. It's quiet, peaceful, there are walking paths, and it's about 10 to 15 minutes from Main Street. We will definitely be back!

A Hidden Gem by the Water – A Fisherman’s Dream! This cozy Airbnb exceeded our expectations in every way — the biggest highlight being its perfect location right near the water! My husband loves to fish so he was thrilled to discover how easy it was to grab his gear and head out each morning for a peaceful few hours of fishing just steps from the property. The home itself was clean, well-stocked, and thoughtfully decorated with a charming, rustic vibe that fit the setting perfectly. Waking up to the sound of birds and the sight of the sunrise glistening over the water was pure magic. The host was warm, welcoming, and provided clear instructions and had everything labeled, that helped us make the most of our stay. Whether you’re looking to fish, relax by the water, or simply unplug in a serene setting, this place is a true slice of heaven. We’ll definitely be back!

Joel’s place was absolutely beautiful! It was secluded and peaceful but also very close to down town. I loved drinking my coffee outside in the mornings it was so peaceful! I’d recommend Joel’s air bnb to anyone wanting to travel to galena. I’d go back in a heartbeat! Joel was a great host. He gave us all the information and checked In on us throughout our stay. We had a great time!

We loved our stay in Bellevue. The home was very clean, cozy and fully stocked with everything we needed. The location was great within walking distance of the Mississippi, lock and dam #12, downtown shops, and restaurants. Railroad tracks run right in front of the house and trains did come through, but no loud whistles/horns. If you're a light sleeper, you might hear the low rumble at night when the train comes through, but Kathy does provide a white noise machine and fans that help. The home was perfect for our stay and was close to hiking and biking trails, which is what we love to do.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was incredibly spacious, clean, and perfect for our family, including my mother-in-law’s two small dogs. It was very dog-friendly, which made things so much easier and more comfortable for us. The host was very friendly and responsive throughout our stay. They even left us a bottle of wine, which was such a thoughtful and appreciated touch. The house had a lot of great amenities that made us feel right at home. One of the highlights was its proximity to a horse riding facility, just a short distance away, where we got to enjoy horseback riding, which was such a memorable experience. The community pool was about a 5-minute drive away and looked beautiful. Although we didn’t get a chance to swim, we did use the tennis and basketball courts, which added to the fun. Overall, this was a great place to stay. We would absolutely recommend it to others looking for a relaxing and family-friendly getaway!

We truly enjoyed our stay!

This cabin was the perfect retreat from our busy lives. It was in a peaceful, quiet area with deer and wild turkeys walking through the backyard. The cabin was very clean, inside and outside. The landscape was beautiful and everything is within a short drive from the lake to the local winery to the restaurants on Main Street. We had such a wonderful stay and hope to visit again soon!

We all enjoyed our stay here. The house was big enough for 9 adults to be in comfortably. Everything we needed was in the hose for a wonderful stay. Being able to use the Owners Club amenities was amazing.

Stayed for a long weekend with three friends! Such a wonderful quiet and cozy place to stay! Nancy was very responsive and friendly! The house was clean and the natural light was so wonderful. Would definitely like to stay at the Piccolo House again!

Super nice place, lots of privacy with each bedroom on a different level, each with their own bathroom made a girls trip very nice

The location was perfect for us. Although it is above a bar, I can say the music did not bother is. She does provide eat plugs which we did not need to use. we spent one of our evenings at the grape escape. Highly recommend for live music. The space was perfect for us as well, walkable and was able to find close parking. Finally even though all directions and information were on the app, Catherine still responded to our questions on text. Great place. We will be back !

Beth was very communicative before and during our stay. The house was nicely decorated, and furnished clean and exactly as we expected. I appreciated that we were able to leave without starting laundry, dishwashers, etc. The kitchen had a lot of useful utensils and supplies. We didn't do much cooking, but we could have easily prepared most anything we wanted. The beds and furniture was very comfortable. There were plenty of games and activities to do at the house; we did not utilize the community rec areas, but that was only due to our own agenda and time limitations. My only recommendation would be that blackout curtains in the bedrooms would have been greatly appreciated. I was up at 5:30am some mornings because of light pouring into the bedroom on the main floor.

10/10 would stay again. Close enough to village center to be right there for the 4th of July parade and close enough to be at any number of local destinations in minutes. Exceptionally charming house, felt right at home.

This place is an absolute gem! You’re staying right on the Mississippi, a little ways from town, but not too far. It is absolutely gorgeous to wake up next to the water and Laura was AMAZING! Definitely going to be looking to stay again

We were so excited to find Cynthia’s place! Our family gets together yearly for Christmas in June and we we’re lucky enough to find Cynthia’s place last minute! It was perfect for what we needed! A space for our 12 year old and dog friendly! Really loved that she provided a small pack of water! That was a nice touch! Thank you! We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay, beautiful home and pleasant stay near lake. No issues at all and must note, very comfortable bed!

This was a great place to relax. All the amenities were great! The description of the front of the house was slightly miss leading from the pictures. I did think that it was wheel chair accessible from the pictures. Then found that the front of the house has stairs leading down a hill leading to the house. However as I did not request wheel chair accessibility this is not a complaint just an observation. The house was amazing! Some few minor details were discussed with the owners and they were fabulously responsive. We followed thier instructions to the letter when entering and leaving. I loved that the grill is near the hot tub as I was able to relax while my son did the cooking! lol! Lots of fun! We enjoyed the game room and the fact that the TV is in every room! A must for older adults ! The location is near all the amenities! Which was perfect! We were able to book massages and get there within 5 minutes. Thank you so much for allowing us to be there!

We had the BEST time. The cabin and acreage were breathtaking. Our kids had a blast playing, fishing, catching frogs and more. The cabin was small but perfect for our needs, we loved the porch overlooking the view. The kitchen/bathroom are very small (historic property!) but well equipped. Cabin stayed pretty cool even in the heat of the day, but A/C is there if you need it. We would totally visit again! Hosts were very responsive and friendly!
