Use Azumino and Ikeda-cho as your base in autumn for a trip to enjoy the spectacular views of the Northern Alps and the autumn foliage. From September to November, the autumn leaves gradually descend from the mountains to the villages in Shinshu. You can enjoy autumn scenery unique to each location, including Hakuba Happo Pond, Kamikochi, and the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. During the day, head to the mountains and plateaus to see the autumn foliage. When you come back, relax in the sauna and water bath. In the evening, enjoy a BBQ and the starry sky while spending a peaceful time in the countryside. This is a private rental that can accommodate up to 12 people, so it is recommended not only for family and group trips, but also for couples and small groups staying for multiple nights. Convenient location as a base for sightseeing in Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe. There is also a washing machine and a bathroom dryer for a comfortable extended stay. You can come by public transportation, but having a car is more convenient. Free pick-up and drop-off are available from Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station. Other pick-up and drop-off services and sightseeing pick-up and drop-off services are available for 2,000-8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, within 2 hours one way. For groups of 5 or more, we can arrange a rental car, so please consult in advance. October and November are the seasons when you can enjoy the autumn leaves and the quiet of Shinshu. We recommend staying for multiple nights and taking a leisurely trip to explore the different autumn landscapes of Hakuba, Kamikochi, Azumino, and other areas.

You can rent out the shelter cat cafe for your stay. All spaces can be rented out except during café business hours. The cat space is completely separate. Cats are not allowed in the cafe or the accommodation area. You can interact with the cats in the cat courtyard. You can eat and drink while watching the cat courtyard from the cafe. Dogs are also welcome to stay. Please bring everything your dog needs. However, pets are not allowed in the cat courtyard. They are free to enter and leave the rest of the space. Breakfast from the cafe menu is included. Cosplay photography can be done indoors. You can have a BBQ in the backyard. The BBQ set rental fee is 1,500 yen. There is a free craft corner in the Japanese-style room. You can also see the night view of the city from the cafe. Kiyomizu-dera Temple, famous for its autumn leaves, is directly in front. 15-20 minutes from Nagano IC and Nagano-Suzaka IC. 20-30 minutes by car from Nagano Station. A taxi costs about 6,000 yen. We can pick up up to 3 people from Nagano Station on Fridays and Saturdays. For 4 or more people, please arrange a round trip or use a taxi as well. We can take you to Nagano Station. The road near the inn is steep and narrow. If you are coming by car, you will need a 4WD vehicle or tire chains in winter. Rent an entire log house on the Iizuna Highlands. Amane Guest House

This is Iizuna Kogen, a quiet villa area at an altitude of about 1000 meters. A simple log house built in 2022 with a strong aroma of wood. You can find lots of beautiful scenery within a 10-minute walk. Please don't miss the view of Mt. Iizuna from Lake Daiza-Hoshi. About 3 minutes on foot from the nearest bus stop (Iizuna Higashi-ku)! The next closest bus stop (Iizuna Kogen) is about a 7-minute walk away. You can also come by public transportation. Restaurants such as Mori no Eki, Iizuna Soba, ramen, and hamburgers are also within walking distance. About 25 minutes by car from Nagano Station and Zenkoji Temple. Togakushi Shrine is about a 15-minute drive away. It is also great as a base for golf and skiing in the Togakushi, Kurohime, and Myoko areas. Please also use it for climbing the Togakushi Kodo, Amatomi Trail, and Mt. Iizuna. If you'd like to visit a hot spring, Tengunokan on Lake Reisenji is about a 15-minute drive away. For a large public bath, Asobiba is about a 5-minute drive away. There is a discount on the bath fee. We lend projectors and screens free of charge. Hello!Naoetsu Tamariso is an apartment-style lodging offering 1- to 2-room private rentals. Since the second floor is reserved for private use, you can enjoy a private space. Naoetsu Station is a 5-minute walk and has good access to public transportation! There is a shopping street in front of Naoetsu Station nearby, and there are many restaurants. It is a 5-minute drive to Naoetsu Beach, a 3-minute drive to Joetsu City Aquarium Museum, and a 3-minute drive, making it an easy location for sightseeing as well as sea activities, so you can fully enjoy the city of Naoetsu! Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience.
