Enjoy the joys of children on property and views of incredible mountains with the wildlife that frequents our "back yard". Relax in our private guest area locked off from the rest of our home including a kitchenette and laundry area, all separated from the rest of the house by a custom built and locking doorway. We accept dogs but cannot accept cats due to other guests’ allergies. There is a pet fee.

Another excellent stay at the Riverpath Pensione - absolutely love this place! All of the rooms are uniquely decorated but equally fabulous. The Victorian Suite was perfect for me as a solo traveler, but is ideal for a couple as well. The balcony with Collegiate Peaks views is a nice bonus and makes the space feel larger. Beautiful furnishings and the hosts have anticipated the traveler's every need - including toiletries sourced from a local Salida boutique. Enjoyed wandering down to the Surf Hotel for a cocktail then delicious dinner, and to Joyful Bakery for coffee and a gluten free scone in the morning. This is my go-to place to stay in BV :)

If you want privacy and amazing view the second you walk out of the cabin, consider booking cabin 10! It was facing the opposite direction from other cabins and it was directly facing the mountains , also giving you a feeling of seclusion and intimacy. I wish cabin had its own restroom so you don’t have to use the shared ones , BUT , I have to admit , that restrooms are the cleanest one I’ve ever came across when camping. Also their recreation area is great for a game of pool , darts, it has huge TV , fireplace , microwaves , and everything you need to reheat your leftovers. They also have a small store right where the office is and to my surprise it’s fairly priced compared to other places I stayed at . We loved BV overlook and would definitely go back there in the future . Close to town , restaurants and other cool things that you should explore while there !

First time in a yurt and it was awesome! It was warm and just what we needed for a quick trip to the mountains! The bed was sooo comfy too. Also Leslie cooked breakfast for everyone in the morning which was a delight and the sauna made the trip extra special. Would definitely come back!

Everything was amazing about the stay! It was so peaceful and The location is beautiful, the mountain views of stood out, and it's right on the river which can't be beat. Also the hot breakfast cooked the next morning was so so good. I will definitely be back

I loved staying at the yurt! The mountains looked amazing in the background, walkable distance to the river nearby and the yurt itself was super comfortable and my kids loved it! Leslie was amazing, made the stay even more welcoming and enjoyable. Breakfast in the morning was the cherry on top! definitely would come back again!
