Loved the quiet location. Things worked smoothly all around. All questions promptly answered and recommendations made for places to eat - important stuff like that! Have been to Kilkenny before and will keep this place on the short list for sure.

Enjoyed our stay very much ...lovely surroundings...if u enjoy nature this is a great place to stay & to explore Kilkenny's countryside! Alder Cabin was so clean & welcoming when we arrived! Loved the small personal touches from breakfast items to wild flower arrangement on table! Host Donna v friendly but respected our privacy!! Perfect place to celebrate our anniversary!!!

We spent a few great days touring the area and this place made a great base - perfect for what we wanted, well equipped and in beautiful surroundings. We’d definitely stay again the next time we are in this part of Ireland and 100% recommend to anyone reading this listing. The welcome from the lovely dogs was a real bonus.
