Dongchonjae is located in Seochon Village, close to Gwanghwamun Square and Gyeongbokgung Palace in the heart of Seoul. Dongchonjae, built about 100 years ago, is a traditional hanok that has been officially certified by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Korea Tourism Organization. Dongchonjae has been operating since October 2020, when a retired couple opened their home to guests. Dongchonjae is located on a 380.17 m² plot of land. It consists of one building, and the space is divided into the main building (Anche/Main) House), Sarangchae/Detached House, and Annex. Guests have exclusive use of the Main House and the Annex. The host is in a separate building. You will be staying in a detached house, and we will personally assist you with necessary services such as providing breakfast. We hope you can comfortably experience the tranquil beauty and subtle atmosphere of a traditional hanok at Dongchonjae. Located in the heart of Seoul. It is about a 2-minute walk from Subway Line 4 (Sungshin Women's University Station, Exit 7, 150 m) and a bus stop (Incheon Airport Limousine Bus 6011, 80 m). Sungshin Hanok is divided into a main building and an annex, and each has its own separate entrance gate, which ensures privacy. The main building is a 156.8-square-meter (47-pyeong) space used exclusively by one group. The annex is used as a laundry room for managing bedding. Please refer to the drawing in the picture. This is a guesthouse registered as a hanok experience business! Due to the nature of hanoks, various insects may appear even if quarantine measures are taken. This is an unavoidable, natural phenomenon. Therefore, it is not possible to request a refund based on this issue. Guests who are particularly sensitive to even small insects should consider this carefully before making a reservation.
