The location was really good! It was right in front of the restaurant, so I saw Chef Lee Yeonbok, and there were many restaurants, so it was easy to order delivery!!!!!!! I also recommend the atmosphere of the accommodation.

Jun was a wonderful host. She made sure we felt at home and continued to check in on us during our stay. The space was very clean and welcoming. We loved that it was in the middle of a market and walking distance to so many cafes and shops. Very unique experience for our first time in Korea!

The place is located behind Seoul Station, which is very convenient. I came by car, and there's a slight uphill, but walking to Namdaemun and Myeongdong was totally doable. Celebrated my two year anniversary with my boyfriend and I absolutely loved the Airbnb! It was a perfect home for our stay and extremely spacious.Everything was very clean, the host was very responsive and gave us recommendations. Our flight got delayed and they were super accommodation on letting us leave our luggage for a few hours after check-out before we headed to the airport!

We stayed at Doyoung’s hanok in Bukchon Village for 10 days after two weeks of travel, hoping for a home-like atmosphere where we could cook and reset. While the hanok was beautiful and well-located, the kitchen was missing a few essentials and there were no instructions for how to use appliances—all of which were labeled in Korean. Once we reached out, Doyoung went above and beyond to make things right. He responded incredibly quickly, brought us pastries and flowers to brighten our stay, and even created a neatly designed instruction booklet with photos—impeccably done and completed so fast, we honestly hope he didn’t stay up all night making it! Bukchon Village is a wonderful area—central, walkable, and full of charm. And Doyoung is truly one of the kindest, most responsive hosts we’ve ever had. Despite the initial hiccups, we left feeling incredibly well cared for. Thank you, Doyoung!

I wanted to end my trip in Seoul with a traditional hanok house. This house was just a perfect size for just me. It was quiet and easy to walk to shopping and restaurants within 10 minutes or less.

On our trip to Seoul, we sought out a traditional Hanok guesthouse, as it’s a rare opportunity for our dog to travel from China to Korea. We feel incredibly fortunate to have stayed in such an exceptional guesthouse! The house and courtyard are designed with exquisite taste, seamlessly blending traditional and modern elements. The space is spotlessly clean, offering utmost comfort, and everything feels just right! The host and property manager are warm, welcoming, and attentive, quickly addressing any concerns. From before our arrival to throughout our stay, they went out of their way to provide thoughtful and caring service. Thank you for making our Seoul trip truly memorable. We wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse to everyone!

We had such a wonderful stay at Sawol Hanok. The space is peaceful, beautifully designed, and full of charm. We loved how the traditional architecture was paired with simple, modern touches which really helped us slow down and relax. The courtyard is gorgeous, and the whole place feels very calming and private. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely, but still close to everything we needed. We’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing experience in Seoul.

This is an absolutely beautiful little apartment in a great location in Seochon. Perfect for our stay—would definitely stay here again! Only note is that check-in is rather late (4pm), and early check-in/late check-out is not an option.

It's great for five friends to gather. I recommend it! I used several accommodations for🤤 each gathering, but I think this was the most satisfying. My friends' reactions were very good! We gathered at the table, turned on the beam projector, and ate and had dessert. It was so nice to have plenty of cutlery. They gathered the bedding in one place, and it was so nice that we could sleep together. 🥹

I’m so glad we chose to stay at KJ and Paul’s place! The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the subway, surrounded by wonderful restaurants and cafes, and perfectly nestled in the heart of Bukchon Hanok Village. Staying here offers a truly unique experience, with Gyeongbokgung Palace and Insadong both nearby for easy exploring. The house itself is peaceful at night, and we slept so well thanks to the comfortable beds and cozy comforters. I really appreciated the little touches, like the filtered hot and cold water, and the overall cleanliness of the space. KJ and Paul went above and beyond with their local recommendations—we didn’t even have time to try them all! The home’s decor is another highlight. KJ clearly has an eye for design, and we loved the quirky, creative touches throughout the house. It made our stay feel extra special and memorable. All in all, this was a wonderful stay and I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and comfortable stay in Seoul!😊

The lingering memories of the day I spent at the Transcend Mansion around this time last year still lingered in my mind. I heard that you were opening a new space this time, so I pressed the reservation button without hesitation. I am looking forward to see what kind of fragrance will fascinate me. As soon as I opened the door of the transcendental house, I felt a sense of relief. 'I knew it, this is it.' It was a moment when the trust in the boss became even stronger. I can't believe I'm seeing a harmony of bamboo and Hanok in Seoul. I also did a digital detox that was not planned to cherish every minute and second in my eyes and heart. I remember being so confused when I woke up in the morning, because the scenery I faced in a daze was so unfamiliar. I will send infinite affection to the owner who cared about even a glass of water and promise to meet again. Thank you! ☺️💙

We had an absolutely delightful stay at this Hanok! From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped in a serene atmosphere with calming music playing softly in the background, and a lovely, inviting scent filling the air. The home was immaculate and beautifully maintained, with everything in perfect condition. The washer/dryer was a fantastic touch, and it was such a relief to have that convenience during our stay. All of the instructions were clearly labeled in English, making everything incredibly easy to navigate. One of the standout features was the cold water filter by the sink—ideal for those hot days, and perfect for filling up our water bottles. It's clear that the host has put a lot of thought into the little details to ensure guests have the most comfortable and enjoyable experience. This Hanok offers a truly unique Korean experience that you shouldn’t miss. The neighborhood itself is charming, with easy access to trendy spots like Onion Café and London Bagel Museum

Ondaru is a located at a charming quaint area that is accessible by metro and buses with cafes and eateries. The hanok is beautiful, cleaned and I love the simple touch of the personalized flag to welcome us. Sera had been very kind and helpful throughout the journey and replied very quickly. A truly unique and special home. Beautifully maintained, immaculately clean, and full of charm. The location is excellent, with plenty of cafes, shops, and restaurants within easy walking distance. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed gathering as a group in the spacious and thoughtfully designed main living areas. Our host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a traditional yet modern hanok-style experience, this home should absolutely be on your bucket list. A very nice hanok located in a great neighborhood, decorated with (good) taste! Very well equipped, clean and spacious, this Hanok is very nice to rest between 2 visits to Seoul. The kitchen amenities are of excellent quality and very complete, the host even prepared breakfast for us in advance, it was very appreciated! Small precaution to know, the traditional hanok mattresses are quite thin, the comfort is not the same as in the usual beds. We highly recommend this place, in which we had a lovely stay in Seoul!

We had a wonderful stayhere! The house was beautiful, all three bedrooms were a great size, the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with everything we needed and we enjoyed trying out the Korean games we found around the house. The front courtyard was a great spot to sit in the evenings and it was easy to get to shops, restaurants and the subway station. We really loved the walk to Naksan Park along the old city wall at sunset!

This was the perfect Hanok stay! The home was so beautiful, with tasteful decor and many sweet touches. It was spotless, smelled really nice, and was very well stocked with everything we needed. It was spacious for our family of 5, and we all slept very comfortably. The host was absolutely amazing. His communication was excellent, with impressive response times and such thoughtful and kind accommodations to our questions and requests. Highly recommend this rental!
