Love the place, the view was perfect

We were staying at a different location, when that house had AC problems. We looked around for options and found this house. we can't say enough good things about our stay. Felt newly renovated, very clean, very comfortable. We were afraid our vacation was going to be cut short, but Linda and her lake house came to the rescue. If vacationing in the area, we highly recommend this house.

We had a great stay! The place was exactly as described. Clean, cozy, and in a great location. Check-in was easy, and the host was communicative and helpful throughout. Everything we needed was available, and we felt right at home. Definitely would stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable place. Thanks again!

We enjoyed the house. it seems much bigger than it looks from the outside! It made for a nice, relaxing getaway. Our daughter, who lives in the area, was able to pick us up in thier boat for a fun time on the lake!

This was our second time staying at Merre’s place and I don’t have enough good things to say. This place is incredible, so peaceful, so much to do. Merre is absolutely fantastic, the best host ever. We appreciate her and her husband and their farm so much. We hope to be back many times!

This Airbnb was absolutely stunning, with impeccable attention to detail and a serene atmosphere. The host was incredibly welcoming, and the breathtaking views made our stay truly idyllic.

The place is a great place to stay. it is nice and quiet out in the country, yet close enough to town for shopping and eating out. Jennifer is a great host and responds very quickly to any concern you may have. I highly recommend this place and I will stay here every chance I get when in the area.

Kristi’s place was gorgeous and just what we needed on our family road trip. The space was clean and there were snacks and bottled water left for us, which our teens promptly gobbled up. We took some of Kristi’s guidebook advice and ate at a couple of the restaurants, which were delicious. It was a great stay and we’d stay again if we travel through the area.

I got married nearby and used the cabin to get ready the morning of and then stayed with my husband that night. It was perfect! It and everything we needed and the weather was great, so we spent most of our time out on the deck. We loved watching the wildlife in the strip pit! We saw fish, birds, and even a snake. This was a beautiful place to stay and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone!

This cabin was exactly as pictured, and exactly what my husband and I were looking for to have an escape from work. We enjoyed the firepit (David had wood and kindling at the ready), lounge chairs, and eating outdoors. We love birding, and our bird app identified dozens of species around the property. The place was sparkling clean. We enjoyed the windows surrounding the space, and spent time reading and watching movies on the Smart TV. WiFi was more than adequate. If you forget something, there is a Dollar General Market just down the road. There was produce, along with plenty of grocery items. We went to the George Washington Carver National Memorial and walking trail, which we both loved. We also went to Grand Falls south of Joplin. We had lunch at Undercliff Grill - fun! There is plenty to see and do in the area! David was fantastic! Responsive and friendly, but not pushy or hovering. We were able to meet him, and he is a great guy. We will be back! I already miss the river!

This cabin felt like home away from home. Can sleep a lot more people! We ended up only having my little family, and it was the best get away ever. We all left so much more relaxed. And the boys spent most of their time outside, my youngest boy LOVED the swing in the tree the best, we had two deer visit us everyday we were there. We had family Time around the fire! It didn’t even feel like an Airbnb but like a home. We felt right at home that we got so much relaxing and my little slept so peacefully. I hope we can come back soon because it was the best experience ever, we did the walking trail our last day there it was cute! But we accidentally hit a tick bed 😂 that sure brought us together! We got to check each other for ticks! We also got to enjoy a fun game of UNO! And a family night watching the gorge. Your kitchen it very well stocked with cooking things. It was an amazing weekend all in all! And it’s even better to have hosts that we could tellLove Jesus as much as we do!

This is our 2nd time staying here. This place is perfect for our family fishing trip. There is easy water access and a ramp less than 100 yards away for our boat. Carrie was quick to respond to any questions we had. There was even a water hose with a spray wand making it super easy for cleaning fish. Just a beautiful view from the cabin. We plan on staying again in the future. It's a tiny unit but the view is worth it. The sun room is perfect for coffee in the mornings.

Had a great weekend getaway with my boyfriend here. We loved looking out the giant windows and watching birds including a bald eagle. Was fun to walk around and was super quiet.

The pictures don’t do justice! This little place is absolutely perfect. Shay was extremely responsive and patient with me and my requests. I was here for only a short time, but if I am in the area again, this will be my first attempt for a place to stay! Loved everything about it!!

We stayed at North Forty Lodge for my son’s graduation from Pitt State, and everything was fantastic! The home was better stocked than any Airbnb we've ever stayed at—every supply and staple you could think of was already there. The beds were super comfortable, and the loft setup gave both families their own space, which was perfect. The lodge itself is beautiful, peaceful, and has everything you need. Danny was a great host—responsive and welcoming. We only wish we could've stayed longer to enjoy more of the scenic outdoor areas of the property. Highly recommend!
