Cities such as Alkmaar and Enkhuizen are nearby, but Amsterdam is also not far away. How about a day on the bird island of Texel?! Schagen with all its restaurants and shops is 5 km away. In the village square, you can find bike rental, bakery, drugstore, ice cream parlor and restaurants. On the beach, there are 6 pavilions.

We, a family with 4 children (11, 14, 17 and 19 years), have a holiday home next to our house with its own entrance and parking space. The cottage is within walking distance of the charming village center, just like the beach (approximately 500m from the cottage). 750m away is a beautiful hiking and nature reserve the Zwanenwater.
