As soon as you cross the threshold of the door, the safety and the cocooning spirit are felt. And we felt great there! This place is conducive to rest. And for good reason, everything was done with care: the welcome, the decor and the bedding (not the least) were great! We thank our host, Alexis, for his kindness. We will be happy to come back because this week spent here, was nothing but relaxation and healing. The maisonette is ideally located in this beautiful city. The Alpes Mancelles was a real favorite. short stay but it was wonderful. Everything neat and present. the host only speaks French but with Google translate it went well. they are flexible and respond quickly. The only thing was that it was unclear that there were not 2 closed rooms, this meant that we finally had to sleep with our son in 1 room. Not bad, but would have liked to have known in advance.

A great weekend in a place full of charm, whether it's the cottage, the hikes in the forest where we went on foot or the villages recommended by Élise and Sylvain. we'll be happy to go back!

My husband and I had a lovely stay. We felt like we were on vacation as soon as we arrived. Nothing is missing. Just put the suitcases down. The land is well fenced, my dog was able to live his little life. We didn't see the owners but the communication was perfect. We plan to return there one day.

The Old House looks exactly like the photos, we liked the style very much. David welcomed us nicely and gave us many tips on what to see in the area.

Perfect if you need to spend a couple of nights near Laval. The place is small and cosy and has everything you need for a short stay. Vanessa is very helpful.

A spacious welcoming house, beautiful garden and great farm. swimming pool was a hit too. we were 3 generations of family and everyone agreed it was a perfect spot for a farm, friendly holiday experience. The animals are well looked after , Santiago was a peticular favourite. definitely recommend.

Julie gave us a very warm welcome and spent time talking about the accommodation and the local area. She was available for advice and help throughout our stay. The gite was well equipped clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and the games room and our grandchildren loved the trampoline. There were enough sun loungers for everyone. The local area was attractive and interesting.

A wonderful place to stay in rural Normandy. Jean-Francois is an excellent, friendly & helpful host. La Baronnie offers everything you need for a peaceful getaway, with excellent outdoor space to complement the cosy lounge and kitchen/diner. Gouvets is a lovely quiet village with nice walks, and well located for the major sights and attractions of Normandy

We had a pleasant family stay in this beautiful, spacious, comfortable and functional house. The place is very calm and relaxing. Shops and activities are not very far by car. Thanks to Vince for the responsive messages and thanks for this delicate attention on our arrival of 2 bottles of wine and chocolates. Everything was perfect except for a slight lack of cleaning, a few cobwebs and an unemptied bathroom trash can, probably by mistake. Otherwise, nothing to report, I highly recommend this beautiful house. Thank you again for this charming stay. Corinne and Patrice (May 2025)
