Open, bright, clean and cozy, this beautiful and efficient cabin is found in a wonderfully pleasant and family friendly neighborhood. It was situated on site to take maximum advantage of the stunning views of Kachemak Bay and the Grewingk Glacier. This is a no-pet listing, just right for one or two people. Our stay was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we arrived we felt right at home. The house was impeccably clean, stylishly decorated and the master bed was extremely comfortable. The views from the living room were beautiful and we even had a moose sleep on the front yard. We would highly recommend this gem to anyone seeking a perfect blend of comfort and charm.

Staying at Old and Bold was fantastic! June and her husband Felix were wonderful hosts and are now my new friends. The home was immaculate and the view spectacular. It felt like staying with family. June and her three dogs were wonderful! My dog Maddie loved playing with them and June checked on her when I was away. The only thing I would say, is that the listing made it look like I was renting the whole home, but it was only the bottom floor. It ended up being better that way and my stay was incredible. I will be back!

Good place, nice peaceful energy and clean environment. Shower popped off, with two shower heads and super hot water. The only thing we didn’t love was having to walk so far to the bathroom (and that the bathroom was cold) but it’s worth the price and location. Owner was responsive and friendly. WiFi was decent. Really nice simple white decor

Scott and Hesters place was a perfect spring board to explore all of Homer’s attractions but far enough away to appreciate its beauty in peace in the morning and late afternoon. It is a shared space with other possible guests staying above you. I would encourage reaching out to the host to make sure who may be your neighbor in case you have a young family that tends to be on the louder side and are looking to respect other guests. Otherwise, it was a lovely place to stay at for our Homer vacation and would happily book again should the opportunity arise!
