We loved our stay right on the beach. It was perfect for our family of 4! We would stay again :)

Such a special place to wake up in - right on the water with snorkelling & a surf break just there. My three kids loved their bunk room and being right on the water. Heidi was amazing and endlessly helpful. If you don't want a resort in this area and appreciate good old school Hawaii - this is the place for you.

Our family ranging from 77 to 7 all agreed that the house exceeded our expectations. We appreciated the quiet setting with lots of places to walk {I think grandpa, walked them all}, the fully equipped kitchen, and the pool (of course). My grand daughter named the resident geckos and gave them all a fond goodbye. We had to drag our 16-year old off Magic Sands beach. We all enjoyed several snorkeling spots and splurged on a Fair Winds "Kona’s Best Morning Snorkel: Captain Cook & Kealakekua Bay." Many thanks.

What a wonderful place to land after being out having adventures! Within walking distance of fabulous beaches, a local shopping center and terrific food. Our hosts were fantastic- quick to respond to questions and full of spot-on recommendations. Their home is a gem. Beautiful on the inside and the outside with a neat layout and a divine screened in lanai. Sijie and Zhe thought of all of the things that people might need/want when Airbnb-ing. I was seriously impressed. All of the beach & snorkel gear, beach towels, water shoes and chairs that they provided were invaluable. Great kitchen for making food at “home” and close to a large grocery store and lots of yummy restaurants nearby. It’s a quiet neighborhood nestled close to the water and surrounded by plumeria, hibiscus and all sorts of greenery. We had a delightful time during our 7 day stay in Kona at Zhe and Sijie’s lovely abode.

This place was beautiful!! The ocean was literally right outside of the house. There was snorkeling gear, boogie boards, and pool noodles provided. It felt really welcoming being here. Regina was quickly responsive to any of my questions or comments as well. Make sure to pack WATER SHOES, the oceans are rock filled. Do not miss visiting 2step beach, which is only about 10 minutes from the house. The house was very comfortable for myself and family. Thank you so much for hosting us Regina, if we come back to Kona we will definitely be looking to stay at your home again! :)

This is the second time we stayed here and it was just as good as the first time. Amazing location with an uncomfortable bed in the master. You’re right on the rocks of the ocean, and right next to a beach park where a homeless man sleeps… I would stay here again in a heartbeat! We can’t wait to return to this home for another vacation in Kona (and next time we’ll bring paper towels, even through they promise to provide them). Aloha! 🏝️

We throughly enjoyed our stay! Pictures simply do not do justice to the stunning views and gorgeous sunsets!! The home is spacious, extremely comfortable, well stocked, and the big island decor was perfect!! Would recommend without hesitation and hope to return again soon.

The perfect place to launch all our adventures. Central to every activity we planned on the Island. The spectacular sunsets were a great way to end each day. Super quiet except for the crashing waves! When we return, this will be our first choice to spend the nights.

Lee’s home is perfect in every way imaginable. Our family of four had a spectacular vacation. We are already planning our next stay.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lennis’s space, along with her thoughtfulness to the space and a being a great host. Her space is very airy, clean, and so many thoughtful details. Such as, beach accessories, many bathroom and kitchen necessities. I stay in a lot of home rentals, and I am really happy when there are items left behind for others to use, like spices, oils, condiments, and there were here. Lennis’s place was our shortest accommodation of our Hawai’i visit(unfortunately), so we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool( which is just a couple of steps away). There are so many flowers and plants on the grounds. We loved that the parking was right in front. It was nice that the condo is a single level apartment. Also, the front porch is lovely, I wouldn’t say it’s very private, but we are city people, so I didn’t mind. And it is not an active road. Stay here!

Awesome stay. This home is generously equipped and made for a perfect home base during our Big Island vacation. Easy to navigate with a cozy, welcoming feel. Enjoyed the pool and lovely gardens. Let’s not forget the ocean view.. perfect for sunsets. Host was helpful, friendly, and responsive.

The property is amazing. It’s peaceful, relaxing and private. You hear the ocean in the near distance. They’re amazing sunsets and partial views of the ocean, which is very close by. Jaima is a wonderful host. She is always responsive to questions that you have no matter how small. She stocks the house with things that you wouldn’t ordinarily expect in an Airbnb. She goes above and beyond to make sure that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. The sheets and linens are very high-quality. She even provides beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas and snorkels. Anything that you need is there. We stayed for two weeks and she came three times to clean the pool while we were there even though we could’ve done it ourselves. She wanted to make sure it was nice. Jaima was very helpful to us when we mistakenly reserved one day less than what we needed at the start of our stay. She immediately extended the stay when we were very anxious about it. It’s very close to downtown.

Our group absolutely loved our stay. The host was extremely responsive and the pictures don't even do the place justice. We loved the view and relaxing by the pool until it was time to hit the beach. The location is ideal; it is not too far from Kona (8 minute drive) but you feel like you're in a jungle oasis.

This home has the most spectacular views, and is in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood! Everything looks as pictured and was the perfect Kona coast stay! This was our first time not staying close to the beach on any island and we loved how quiet and low key it was. Non of the hustle and bustle of a resort or beachfront condo. The pool was amazing to have on site! We loved our stay here! Our host was super quick to respond to any questions we had while staying! Thank you for the fabulous home away from home!

I recently stayed at Justin’s Airbnb in Kona, and it was an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, Justin was incredibly welcoming, offering great recommendations for local activities and making sure we had everything we needed. The house itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, creating a perfect island retreat. One of the highlights was the pool – it was pristine and provided the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring the island. The outdoor area was fantastic, with plenty of seating, and we enjoyed several evenings watching the sunset from the lanai. The location in Kona was ideal, with easy access to beaches, dining, and shopping, yet the house felt like a private oasis. We felt truly at home during our stay and couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind. I highly recommend Justin’s place for anyone looking to experience the best of Kona in comfort and style!

Perfect Home Base in Mauna Lani – Everything You Need and More! Crystal’s place was the perfect home away from home for our Big Island stay. The villa was spotless, beautifully furnished, and stocked with everything we needed — from beach gear to a fully equipped kitchen. The bedding was absolutely top-notch — plush, luxurious, and made it hard to get out of bed in the morning! We especially loved the private lanai off the master bedroom — a peaceful spot for morning coffee or a quiet evening wind-down. The highlight was definitely the six-seater golf cart. It made getting around Mauna Lani so easy and fun! We loved cruising to the private beach club for morning swims, sunset views, and access to one of the best snorkeling spots around. Being able to ride over to the Shops at Mauna Lani and other resort amenities was a huge bonus. Crystal was a fantastic host — super responsive, thoughtful, and made sure we had a seamless experience. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great space for my wife and I and our four adult children. Loved the ability to walk to bay to paddle board. Kona country club golf was 5 minutes away and a fantastic experience for me and my two sons. AC in the house worked extremely well. Pool was a popular afternoon spot. Wi-Fi was good and helped for the unfortunate times I had to log into work. Close to grocery store and restaurants. Overall a great home base for exploring the Big Island!

We had a wonderful stay at Logan and Patricia’s place in Kailua-Kona. The unit is very private, peaceful, and exactly as described. We especially loved the view from the balcony—truly one of the highlights of our trip. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, local restaurants, and shops. The fully equipped kitchen and AC made our stay extra comfortable, and having everything we needed on hand was a huge plus. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and responsive throughout our stay. We’d love to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We loved our stay in Kristina’s house!!!! Such a beautiful place, new furniture, so clean and stocked with everything we could need. The golf club and rest of the amenities were gorgeous! Finally, Kristina is a great host, always responsive and helpful. Would recommend 110% staying here

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Justin‘s place. It is very spacious and we were a family of five. My mom, my husband and my two daughters. The kitchen was fully stacked, and the mattresses were super comfortable. The snorkeling gear was a little old so we ended up buying our own gear. The area was great. Very close to a swimming beach and a beach for snorkeling. Justin was very responsive. Always replied right away and very helpful. We hope to come back someday soon!

Chelsea was out of town yet was immediately responsive to messages dealing with a couple of minor glitches; it helped that the owner lives nearby. Place overall was great. Lack of air conditioning (it was not hot, but the upstairs did warm up in the April afternoons) was offset by the private pool, a better way to cool off than by refrigerating the house. Nice layout for two couples, one upstairs with the larger bedroom and large en suite bath, the other downstairs with two smaller bedrooms and a bath, so we each had good private space. Only drawback was the downstairs rooms seemed a bit enclosed, although all had windows. Nice large lanai and the landscaping around the pool made it feel especially private. Be sure to investigate the pantry and shelves before shopping...the place was very well supplied when we arrived. We would definitely stay again if we're in Kona!

Our stay in Kona was absolutely amazing! The home was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed — including beach towels, snorkel gear, and a well-stocked kitchen. One of the highlights was snorkeling in the community lagoon just steps away — we saw colorful fish. After a day of exploring, it was such a treat to unwind in the jacuzzi under the stars. We also took a day trip to Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park, which was unforgettable — totally worth the drive. The location was perfect for both adventure and relaxation. We got a resort pass at the Hilton in Waikoloa Village. Fun for the kids! The hosts were friendly, quick to respond, and gave us fantastic recommendations. This stay made our Big Island trip truly special. Highly recommend, and we’d come back in a heartbeat! Thanks George!

This was definitely the nicest place I've stayed in. I have stayed in a lot of vacation homes, but none with the awesome ocean views this one has. The home is beautiful, clean, comfortable and well equipped. It had a luxurious feel. I highly recommend this place, and we will be back again in the future.

the avocado cottage is bigger than expected (for 2 people). the kitchen war clean and consisted of a microwave, a toaster and cuttlery as well as plates. a Walk to the City- center can be done in 20-30 minutes, but you need to cross a big street. the parking may be a bit steep if you have a low sitting car, but the owner was very accomodating in letting us park on the least steep part of the parking. all in all: can recommend
