Family-friendly holiday rentals in Kalathas

Mein Freund und ich waren 5 Tage in der Unterkunft und waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist im Erdgeschoss eines schönen modernen Hauses. Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet, es fehlte an nichts. Hervorzuheben ist die schöne Terrasse mit Whirlpool. Die Lage ist super. Es sind circa 15 Minuten Autofahrt bis zum Zentrum Chanias. Mehrere Strände sind fussläufig zu erreichen. Das Haus selbst ist ruhig gelegen. Es bietet einen guten Ausgangspunkt, um Kreta zu erkunden. Katerina und ihr Mann sind tolle Gastgeber. Bei Ankunft erwartete uns ein frischer griechischer Salat, Orangen und Wein. Wir bekamen ein paar Tage später frisches Gemüse aus dem Garten. Katerina war stets erreichbar und sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Insgesamt würden wir die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen! 5/5 Sterne!

La vue est magnifique. La vieille ville est à 30 minutes de marche. Les lits sont confortables et il y a suffisamment de draps et de serviettes. Cuisine bien équipée. Téo est très avenant et il est facile de communiquer avec lui. Je recommande.

Je recherchai un hébergement de qualité supérieure sur Chania avec toutes les commodités et je suis tombée sur cette location qui répondait à mes attentes avec cerise sur le gâteau cette jolie petite piscine privée chauffée. La maison est magnifique, spacieuse, la déco est juste ce qu'il faut et tout y est en terme d'équipements. On se sent comme a la maison. Ce fût un vrai coup de coeur aussi pour la piscine et pour la plage à proximité (Koum Kapi), pas de parasols à perte de vue, une jolie plage aux eaux cristallines, des bars et restaurants pas loin et des locaux mélangé aux touristes sur la plage. J'ai adoré cet endroit. Je voulais un lieux à proximité de la vieille ville et calme c'était vraiment parfait. Je recommande à 100%. Great stay, great location, great views. Very close to many bars and restaurants. Not too noisy at night. The only slightly negative aspect was the shower. Basically made the entire floor flooded. Overall, i would recommend the place and would definitely return.

Hidden gem! Loved this home, literally two minute walk to Golden Beach. Katerina is so sweet (she met us in-person, had local restaurant recommendations, and even provided a bottle of wine). The home was perfect for our group of 6 (great value for the money, too). Would 100% come again!

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in der Villa Life. Da wir sehr früh angekommen sind, konnten wir schon mittags einchecken. Das Apartment hatte alles, was man braucht und wurde täglich gereinigt. Der Blick war wunderschön und die gesamte Anlage sehr gepflegt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Vi var meget begejstrede for at leje jeres virkeligt smukke bolig. Huset er helt fantastisk, det ligger med den mest fantastiske udsigt ud over byen, huset fremstod rent og pænt alle vegne, der var kælet for detaljerne overalt. Jeres værtskab, jeres service og vilje til at hjælpe os, med alt fra grundig introduktion til huset og dets faciliteter, ordring af fastfood, da vi ankom sent. Hvor finder vi en rigtig god slagter, bestilling af Taxa og flere andre spørgsmål, gav vores ophold en ekstra positiv dimension. Kombinationen af huset i sig selv og jeres værtskab, gjorde vores ferie til noget helt særligt. Som ganske enkelt skal have topkarakterer på alle parametre. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen. A lovely, luxury appartment near the beach and about 30 minutes' walk from the old town of Chania. A well-equipped, clean and beautiful appartment, but above all the warm and friendly hostess Anastasia. She guided us around the area, brought local delicacies, stocked the fridge with food and even drove us to the grocery store with her car. We really enjoyed our stay at the appartment and can wholeheartedly recommend it to others. You certainly wont't be disapointed!

We had a perfect stay at Dimitra’s beautiful house. She was super responsive, helpful, and friendly. The house is spotless and has all the amenities you need. The location is peaceful and secluded but also easy to get to nearby restaurants and beaches. We wished we could spend the whole summer here!

Fantastic stay! Alkis was very accommodating and quick to help. He organized cars for us, had recommendations and was all around a great host. The place was perfect for us and a perfect location just steps to the beach. We have little kids so a quick beach break worked famously for us. We debated staying in the old town but I’m extremely glad we didn’t. Highly recommend!!

There will not be enough superlatives to describe this place. The location overlooking the Venetian Harbor was amazing. The house is historic, beautiful and has all the amenities you will want. You literally won't believe the large rooftop deck with crazy views. The house had lots of interesting things to read, lots of space for a large group and it was stocked with maps and guidebooks. The neighborhood is completely safe. The in-person welcome from the hosts contained some really thoughtful surprises (you will need to find out yourself - I won't ruin the surprise welcome.). Superbe maison, très bien située , endroit très calme et reposant. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maman de Gregoris nous a très amicalement accueillis et nous a fourni d excellents conseils. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war einwandfrei. Wir haben uns sehr über den vegetarischen Pie und alles andere, was er zur Verfügung gestellt hat, gefreut. Es gab frisches Obst, Tomaten etc. sehr zuvorkommend. Man kann vom Standort aus zahlreiche Ausflüge machen. Der Garten ist weitläufig. Es war alles tiptop. Vielen Dank an Ioannis, seiner Frau und vor allem seiner Mama für den sehr leckeren Pie!

Stayed here from June 9 - June 13, our reservation was for two people. Mano was very kind and accommodating to us. We took a ferry to Heraklion, rented a car, and drove to the Airbnb. No trouble finding it, and having a private parking space in this location is a HUGE plus! Chania parking and driving is very chaotic. Airbnb was very generously stocked with espresso pods, Ouzo, items from the hosts bakery (the banana bread was incredible), a bottle of water, and more. Everything we needed! Excellent local recommendations and a super market within a short walk. Everything worked perfectly and was very clean too! Would 100% recommend and stay here again!

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. Meie perele meeldis Yannise juures peatuda. Suhtlus Yannisega oli kiire, ta oli väga sõbralik ja lubas meil teha palju varasema sissekolimise. Korter oli avar, hele ja hubane, voodid olid samuti mugavad. Vannitube oli pere apartmendis kokku kolm, mis tegi olemise samuti mugavaks. Piirkond oli väga mõnus, parkimine oli kohe maja ees, jalutuskäigu kaugusel (ca 6 min), oli täiesti korralik pood, samuti oli jalutuskäigu kaugusel (15-20 min), väga mõnus Kalathas beach (tagasi tulles küll ülesmäge vaja kõndida). Tegemist on sinilipu rannaga, mis on liivase põhjaga, laugelt sügavaks minev, mõnusate (aga mitte suurte) lainetega.....sobib perele ideaalselt. Veel soovitame väga sellel samal poolsaarel asuvat Katholiko matkarada (algab Gouverneto kloostri juurest). Tegemist on imeilusate vaadetega matkarajaga, mille tegi (meie abiga) läbi ka 4 aastane matkasell. Samuti soovitame külastada lähedal asuvat üliselge veega Seitan Limania randa. Yannisega on mõnus suhelda ja bassein on IMELINE :)!!!

Ми з мамою провели чудових 5 ночей у Georgios. Все було ідеально! ✨ Чіткі вказівки господаря допомогли легко знайти готель. Зручно, що поруч є велика парковка для авто. В кімнаті було дуже чисто, також у нас кілька разів прибирали та змінювали рушники. На кухні є все необхідне щоб готувати, тільки плита трохи повільна. Але це дрібниця. Чудово, що є і балкон, і тераса біля входу в кімнату, тому ви маєте кілька опцій, де посидіти чи поснідати 🥰🌴 Басейн прекрасний! Досить великий! Тераса на верхньому поверсі на даху має прекрасний краєвид на море та місто. Також там є гриль і місце для обідів. Звернуть увагу, що сходи в номері дуже круті і потрібно бути обережними. Раджу на них ніколи не поспішати. Локація зручна, поруч є все необхідне. Багато таверн зі смачною їжею. Також ми їздили в Ханью на авто - 15 хв. До Елафонісі - 1,40 год. Окремо відзначу дуже приємне спілкування з Georgios. Він надав класні рекомендації цікавих місць поруч 🤍 Ми рекомендуємо це місце для відпочинк

Ein absolut traumhafter Aufenthalt! Die Villa bietet eine familiäre Atmosphäre – wir haben uns sofort wie Zuhause gefühlt. Die Appartements sind perfekt ausgestattet, sehr sauber und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Der Pool und der Grillplatz waren Highlights, die wir täglich genutzt haben. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Vermieter: stets erreichbar, herzlich und unglaublich hilfsbereit. Bei jeder Frage stand er sofort zur Verfügung. Das absolute Highlight war, als er uns einen traditionellen kretischen Salat zubereitet hat – eine wunderbare Geste, die uns alle begeistert hat. Es hat uns wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Wer Erholung, Komfort und echte Gastfreundschaft sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir können die Villa uneingeschränkt empfehlen und kommen definitiv wieder!

Very nice house,very nice people, close to shops and restaurants. You have everything you need in the house. Very comfortable beds. The only thing is the house it's on the main road and you can hear every car that pass on the street in case you wanna sleep more in the day time. ,but everything else it's wonderful. You will need a car to access some of the beaches. But some of the beaches or go to Chania town ,you can take the bus. But it's best to rent a car for visiting more as Crete is a wonderful island and you will need at leat 2 weeks to see it. Giorgos also let us stay until very late on the day of check out as nobody was coming at the property on that day. And our flight was late ,so it was very nice of him letting us staying until very late that day in the house. Overall the house it's beautiful and has everything you need. You only need to buy food for yourself as everything else it's there. Thank you for everything.

Nektaria et Nikos sont des hôtes exceptionnels - accueillants, attentionnés et généreux avec leurs conseils et produits maison (confitures, fruits frais et raki), on l'impression d'être reçu par des membres de la famille. La maison est parfait et rien ne manque et elle se trouve dans un emplacement idéal pour se détendre tout en restant proche des principales attractions de la partie Ouest de la Crete. Je recommande les yeux fermés

We hebben 14 heerlijke dagen doorgebracht in het verblijf van Marilena. Vanaf het eerste moment voelden we ons ontzettend welkom. Marilena is niet alleen ontzettend gastvrij en vriendelijk, maar ook bijzonder lief en leuk tegen kinderen. De accommodatie was brandschoon en goed verzorgd. Het privézwembad was een absoluut hoogtepunt: elke ochtend werd het zorgvuldig schoongemaakt door Marilena zelf. Wat we ook erg waardeerden, was dat ze tussentijds – uiteraard in overleg – het huis kwam schoonmaken. Echt topservice! Je merkt aan alles dat Marilena dit met liefde doet en oog heeft voor haar gasten. Kortom: een fantastische plek om te verblijven met een gastvrouw die echt het verschil maakt. We komen hier zeker graag nog eens terug!

Maryellen communicated really well before and during the stay. The house is a fantastic location but you need a car or taxi to get to local restaurants and into Chania. Maryellen even booked the taxi for us to Chania. The house is fully equipped with everything. The views are amazing over looking the sea. The outside space is great with magical pool. It’s on a hill so probably not suitable for people who find it difficult with stairs and because the pool is an infinity pool you would need to be careful of children in the pool. The house is private and in a quiet location. We will be going back, one of the best Airbnb we have been to.
