Captain's Beach Apartments is a property located in a very peaceful area by the beach on Kissamos bay. It consists of 3 houses with 11 serviced apartments and includes outside shared amenities like swimming pool with kids pool and sunbeds, gardens, grape vines, barbecue, parking area and bar. This studio apartment is on the second floor in the third house and has a private entrance and a balcony with sea view. The apartment is on 2 levels (divided by 4 steps) and it consists of one small dining room with a kitchenette and a private bathroom on the first level; and a bedroom with a double bed and a balcony with sea view on the second level. This studio apartment fits up to 2 people and the rates include daily breakfast at the bar. The quiet beach just a few meters away is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, kite surfing and fishing and the street in front of the property doesn't have much traffic so it is suitable for walks and jogging. It is also a great starting point to explore some of Crete’s most popular destinations and beaches, such as Falassarna (7km), Balos (11km), Elafonisi (43km), and the beautiful city of Chania (44km). Peace and seclusion!

Ten minutes drive from Kissamos this is a single self contained apartment with double bedroom, shower room and kitchen/living area. If you are looking for somewhere totally away from the turmoil of every day life, this is the place for you. The only other people here are Sue and I (and our Labrador, Darcy) However, Kissamos is close by and has everything you will need for shopping or eating out and also we are close to the popular beaches of Falasarna and Balos.

Truly a great apartment! Fully matched the listing. It is sparkling clean and everything has been thought of: tea, coffee, washing machine, you name it. It is in a quiet area, but at the bottom of the mountain there is a nice restaurant to enjoy the sunset. We had to mess with the jacuzzi for a while: it went on every hour in the middle of the night, but the host responded very quickly and was able to explain to us how we could solve this. We had a wonderful stay, I would recommend it to everyone.

"Two olive trees, boutique house 1" - spacious

Electra was just amazing. We met her close to the apartment and she brought us there to do the check-in in with us. She is super friendly and shared some recommendations with us. The place is as described, it has everything needed for a few days. The garden and the spot under the olive tree are beautiful to have breakfast or read. Note: you will need a car to get there, but it is just a short drive to some restaurants and supermarkets. It was a really great stay and a good location to explore the west of Crete and its beaches.

Uniquely beautiful, charming tiny house, wonderfully located between carob and olive trees, beautiful terrace with plenty of shade and seating and lounging options (as described and shown in the photos). The very friendly landlords live in the immediate vicinity (see photo 3). Thanks also to the very nice service staff Vicky, who changed the laundry in between! The proximity to Loutraki Bay is fantastic, the water there is crystal clear and wonderful for swimming. Interesting for future guests: the tavern praised in other reviews is currently (June 2025) closed, very close to an air force base, so occasionally jet planes fly - even at night. Overall recommended!
