Our listing is a quiet, spacious, entire-floor property with an elevator, located in the heart of Kyoto, Kawaramachi, which is a rare find❤️ We recommend that it can comfortably accommodate between 4 and 10 people! We finalized the following details for our room in March 2026. From now on, the experience will be even better than before! We carefully selected distinctive Japanese materials, The main wall of the living room TV area features a premium woven-pattern wallpaper with a designer aesthetic. This is Japan's largest and world-renowned woolen fabric production area, and the overall space exudes a warm and cozy home atmosphere. For this special bathroom renovation, we used herringbone-patterned woven tiles crafted with the exquisite, centuries-old Gifu Prefecture tile-making technique. These tiles create a dynamic three-dimensional effect as light and shadow play upon them. Mino ware ceramics have a history spanning nearly 1,300 years, and the tile industry has been producing these highly intricate tiles for over a century. We've also carefully upgraded the Dyson hairdryer, as well as the Dyson bladeless fan, the kettle from a Japanese design brand, the brand-new Daikin air conditioner (both heating and cooling) in the living room, and the best shower head in Japan! The flooring is sourced from Asahi Woodworks, a century-old Japanese company, and is of the highest quality, costing three times more than Chinese products. We also carefully select our bedding. We use a bed with individually pocket-coiled springs, which guests have mentioned in their reviews as providing a good night's sleep.We hope that when you visit Japan, you will have the opportunity to experience our attentive service, convenient accommodations, and excellent location. You can stay at our traditional "Kyo-Machiya". We renovated this townhouse and it is fully equipped with all basic facilities, so you can comfortably stay. Whole house rent for one group. Located only one JR stop from Kyoto Station. There are many restaurants around the house and this location is convenient for sightseeing around Kyoto. Also you can see beautiful cherry trees in the spring. Our guests can use bicycles for free!
