Antonis’s place exceeded expectations in every way. Our host, George (father of Antonis) greeted us with wine, treats, welcoming words, and two adorable dogs - we felt at home and began relaxing immediately. The grounds were even better than the photos - the house is spacious, comfortable, gorgeous. The upstairs veranda overlooking the sea was a highlight - a perfect spot for morning yoga and evening stargazing. We kept discovering new wonders - the trail to the beach through the olive trees, vegetable garden, exquisite woodwork and masonry; not to mention the incredible views of mountains, meadows, and sea. The sound of the waves all night was a beautiful lullaby. The village is very quiet in early April when we were there. Nothing was open so we brought in all of our supplies, which was good because once you’ve made it down the mountain, you’ll want to stay put until it’s time to leave. - no quick trips into town from there! Def bring a sturdy vehicle! Can’t wait to go back!

Wir waren Ende September mit der Familie für eine Woche in der Unterkunft. Der Besitzer des AirBnB - Stavros - war von Anfang an sehr hilfsbereit: er hat uns im Vorfeld der Reise bereits Tipps für Unternehmungen gegeben und war auch während unseres Aufenthaltes immer für uns erreichbar. Bei Ankunft durften wir uns über kalte Getränke und Obst freuen und auch zwischendurch war er so lieb und hat uns z.B. griechisches Gebäck zum probieren vorbeigebracht. Er war wirklich sehr um uns bemüht! Die Unterkunft ist wie auf den Fotos dargestellt: alles war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Die Aussicht ist wirklich super schön! In der Umgebung gibt es einige kleine Tavernen, in denen man gut Essengehen kann. Wir haben uns in der Woche sehr wohlgefühlt und würden die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen!

Eirini’s home was probably one of the best airbnb’s that we have ever stayed in - thank you Eirini ! Stylish, well equipped, and in a lovely village, it was a perfect base to explore this part of southern Crete. Our favourite beaches were not the obvious ones such as Matala and Agia Galini, but Kalamaki and Kokkinos Pyrgos both of which were just a few minutes from the house. They were basic, traditional small seaside locations and not too touristy, just how we like it😀. Finally, the garden stone wall with a gigantic “picture frame” hole in the middle made for a great photo backdrop which family memories are made of.

We stayed with our 3 kids for 8 nights in June. Accomodation is spacious, modern and clean. Just the bathrooms were little tiny. Giorgos is a great host and he was available all time by Instant Messaging. The beach had very few other guests just at weekend a few locals were around, which was actually charming. You must be aware part of the roads are not paved, but luckily we followed Giorgos recommendation to rent a SUV. A real super market is 30-45 minutes by car, but a few local small markets are nearer. Taverns around are good at reasonable prices. We were aware of the location and what we booked, so we had fantastic holidays. Perfect place to spent time to relax, slow down and enjoy time with family. Strong recommendation to rent Kyma Appartment!

Die Villa war ein Traum! Super schön, sauber und sehr modern eingerichtet. Wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt! Es gab eine Waschmaschine, eine Spülmaschine und Klimaanlagen. Alles was das Airbnb Urlaubs-Herz begehrt. Der Check-In lief einwandfrei und Manos war generell super nett und hilfsbereit. Wir würden immer wieder kommen!

Voula is an exelend host. From the first time we arrived we had a warm welcome and given exactly details about the house and the area. The house was amazing at the top of the hill, with a stunning view of the mountains and the sea. Also, it was fully equipped and clean. I high recommend this place for someone who want to relax, enjoy the view and spent his vacations close to the area of kamilari and matala. I will definitely visit this place again sometime.

Absolut top Villa, modern, sauber, ruhig, rundum top! Von der Villa aus hat man die beste Aussicht, absolut überragend. Einziger Hinweis, die Einfahrt ist sehr steil, mit unserem gemieteten Fiat Panda kamen wir nicht hoch, konnten aber direkt vor der Einfahrt parken. Wir können diese Villa jedem empfehlen der auf der Suche nach Ruhe und Erholung ist, mit traumhaftem Ausblick. In naher Umgebung gibt es tolle, einfache Restaurants, zu Fuß erreichbar.

Unsere bisher beste Erfahrung bei AirBnB. Wir haben im Oktober 8 Tage in dieser wirklich tollen Unterkunft verbringen dürfen und haben es absolut genossen. Die Lage ist außergewöhnlich. Man blickt auf das kleine Dorf Sivas mit einer tollen Auswahl an Tavernen, im Hintergrund die Berge und das Meer. Die Unterkunft war absolut phantastisch. Neue Geräte, alles sauber, genug Handtücher und Badehandtücher, tolle Aufteilung und perfekt für uns als kleine Familie mit einem Kind. Zur Begrüßung gab es einen Korb mit lokalen Lebensmitteln und Getränke im Kühlschrank. In der Umgebung gibt es ein paar sehr nette Dörfer, die man besuchen kann und zwei schöne Strände sind auch sehr gut zu erreichen. Die Kommunikation mit Artemisia war schlicht perfekt. Auf alle Anfragen wurde unmittelbar reagiert. Es gab Empfehlungen für die Umgebung und sie haben sogar ein Babybett und ein Babyhandtuch umsonst für uns organisiert. Wundert euch nicht über die wenigen Bewertungen, die Unterkunft ist 3 Monate alt.

This place is a treasure. The views from the living room and kitchen are spectacular. The house has many clever features that are well designed. The area around Almyrida is fun to explore--go down to the beach or on a hike along the coast. Almyrida is a cute beach town, very welcoming. And we did several further from the town adventures. We had no idea that Crete has so much to offer--pottery in Margarites, beautiful beaches, intense hikes, exceptional museums, exploring Hania's historic streets. The property management team were wonderful to interact with. We felt so fortunate to find such a gem. Thank you!!! We sure hope we can return.

Beautiful place, great for families. Lots of toys and even a potty for the kids! Cleaner came mid week which was not necessary but so great. Beach is a 3 min walk. Really need a car to get there which was fine for us! Thanks for everything.

Spent my 50th bday at Nikos place and it was 10/10! There was 7 of us girls and the place was so spacious, private, well equipped and extremely clean. We loved that we could walk to PIGI (5 minute) to the market and a choice of 3 local restaurants. Nikos helped me set up car rental, massages, boat and he had excellent restaurant recommendations. All 10/10 especially our massage therapist. She was the best massage I have ever! we all had 2 massages each as she was that good. I think we will have a yearly trip to Crete and will be returning to Nikos place. Both him and Alexia (whom maintains the property) were amazing and managed all requests! Thank you again for a memorable time in Crete!

We loved staying at Petros's place. The location is picture perfect and completely serene, coupled with the stunning views - perfect getaway gem. The villa is beautifully designed with lots of places to explore and hang out in. Petros is very accommodating and all around helpful from assisting us in setting up the outdoor speakers to offering to make restaurant reservations on our behalf. We had an absolutely amazing time and hope to stay at the villa again when we come back to Crete. Highly recommend!

Das tolle Haus, mit dem Pool befindet sich in einer unglaublich schönen, ruhigen Umgebung. Man ist sehr privat. Wir ( 6 Personen) haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Fotos sind real. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich mit frischem Obst, besonders lecker die Zitronen, und frischem Wasser. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Es ist ein Luxus, dass jedes Schlafzimmer ein eigenes Bad hat. Der Ausblick ist fantastisch, ebenso der Sternenhimmel jede Nacht. Restaurants sind in 10 min zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen. Christos und Giorgos sind sehr herzliche Gastgeber. Die Kommunikation war schnell und unkompliziert. Ein wirklich schöner Urlaub zum abschalten und genießen.

We were two families together and we had an AMAZING stay. Stunning property, everything about the stylish and gorgeous Villa Lagremha is top quality, from the meet and greet, the beds, and the furnishings etc. Extremely well equipped and thought out place. The pool was incredible, delightful views in a spectacular location to get away from it all. The tavernas and beaches around were wonderful. Emmanuel & Yannis and their team were very attentive, they messaged to ask if all was well for us and responded to a query of mine immediately. Highly highly recommended, would give 10 ⭐️ if I could. We will be back!

The house is simply gorgeous. Our family had a wonderful Christmas holiday here. The host was very generous with items in the refrigerator and a well stocked kitchen. Lots of recommendations of places to eat in the area. Michael met us in the driveway upon arrival and showed us everything in the house, that was very kind. Especially loved access to the washer and dryer because we were traveling with kids. It was too cold to use the pool, but if you are here when it is warm, it would be such delight.

We had a wonderful stay at this stunning villa. So tranquil, we all loved it. It was well designed and we had everything we needed for our nine day stay. The owners were very quick to respond to a couple of queries we had. One of the best Airbnb we have stayed at. We will definitely be back

Eine wundervolle Villa, der es an nichts fehlt! Sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. Alles, innen wie außen, ist wie auf den Bildern, die definitiv nicht zu viel versprechen! Man hat einen schönen Blick auf Kalamaki und das Meer. Und man hat definitiv seine Ruhe. In der Stadt findet man tolle, landesübliche Restaurants. Das nahegelegene Matala ist definitiv auch einen Besuch wert! Marina und ihr Team sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können Haus und Vermieter nur weiterempfehlen! Wir sagen danke!

⭐ 5/5 A wonderful Villa stay, thoughtful and relaxing! We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful very private Villa. The setting was peaceful and very relaxing especially beside the beautiful pool. The Villa was spotlessly clean, spacious, and incredibly well stocked with everything we needed to get us started. From everyday essentials like tea, coffee, water, and soft drinks, to beer, kitchen supplies, and plenty of fresh towels, the hosts had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and stress free. Theodora was very responsive, and helpful throughout our stay, offering great local recommendations in Pitsidia village, ‘The Bakery’, ‘Raftis’ etc and other beautiful Cretan restaurants in nearby villages, all which were very much appreciated and easy to get to by car also. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. A true gem!

We loved everything about our stay and really enjoyed the big pool to relax and calm down. It was sunny all day with enough shady places. The place is even more beautiful than on the pictures and offers everything you may need during your stay. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, enough dishes, glasses and even a sandwich maker 😁 The whole house was perfectly clean! We also would like to mention that the owner was super friendly, helpful, answered our messages fast & gave us some good recommendations where to go for nice beaches etc. The house kinda is in the middle of nowwhere which makes it super quite with a lot of privacy. Still it only takes you around 15 minutes to beaches and bigger shops, restaurants and so on which was perfect for us. We would love to come back again!

Grâce à nos hôtes, nous avons passé un excellent séjour en Crête ! La villa était des plus agréables ! Et les attentions de Stefanios n’ont fait que parfaire le tout ! Merci à ces Super Hôtes !

We had an amazing week at the Villa with 3 generations of our family, 6 adults and one toddler. There was plenty of space for us all and plenty of crockery, cutlery and utensils. The Villa really is a home from home. The road to the Villa is unfinished so if hiring a car pick an 4x4 or SUV. You can manage without a car as there is a supermarket 10 min walk away and a few restaurants in the village. The Villa has an amazing view, and we experienced stunning sunsets looking out to the sea.

We stayed at this beautiful villa with our adult children and an older parent, and it exceeded our expectations. Perched high above Moires, it offers stunning views of the valley and distant mountains. The villa is exactly as shown, with a fantastic outdoor pool, lovely gardens, and an outdoor kitchen featuring a gas grill and wood-fired pizza oven. Inside, everything was clean and well-presented, complete with a wonderful welcome pack. All the rooms were just as advertised, with quality linens and towels. George, the owner, was incredibly attentive, communicating effectively and even cooking delicious Cretan meals for us on several evenings. He also shared great recommendations for local trips, restaurants, and beaches. I can’t recommend this villa enough—it’s perfect, and I can’t wait to return!

Our stay at HotelPraxis was incredible and Polimnia was the most gracious host I have experienced in my 10 years in Airbnb. She was close by but never intrusive, left snacks, fruits and water in the fridge, dropped eggs off, recommended restaurants and incredibly, made baked goods of some traditional Greek treats that were so delicious. My family was overwhelmed by the beauty and privacy of the Blue Lake Villa. And the home is lovely, fluffy towels, great water pressure, comfortable beds. What a treat! We will definitely return! I highly recommend.
