This fully equipped bungalow was completely renovated at the end of 2023 and offers a lot of comfort and privacy. Here you can enjoy yourself, because this cozy bungalow (54 m2) is located in a quiet park on the edge of the forest. Nature is beautiful here. Are you taking the bike or the car? Then you will be in Ermelo, Harderwijk or at the Veluwemeer in no time.

Our cozy bungalow is located in the middle of the woods of the Overijssel Vechtdal. The forest house has a beautiful sauna and a big (wild) garden of more than 1000 m2 where you can rest and enjoy all the flora and fauna. From the cottage you can walk, cycle and swim for hours. There are beautiful routes and you can easily jump in a canoe or enjoy a terrace in the lively Hanseatic town of Ommen. Experience it for yourself with SISU Natuurlijk: it's wonderful coming home to the fireplace here.

Vanuit het huisje loopt u direct het bos in met prachtige wandelroutes midden in het leefgebied van herten en ander wild. *** LET OP: vanaf ca. 2 december 2026 zal er een nieuwe vloer liggen en kleine aanpassingen gedaan zijn in het huisje. (Equipped with good WiFi and a Google Chromecast) At the edge of the village Otterlo and within walking distance of the National Park De Hoge Veluwe (Kröller-Müller), lies my vacation home the Flemish Gaai, located in the beautiful Nature Park Hoefbos. The ideal place to unwind and to enjoy the nature. Our cottage has been recently redecorated, has two bedrooms (1 connected to the living room). Easily accessible by public transport and car, and very suitable for hikers and cyclists.

This makes the forest house very suitable for families who want to enjoy a comfortable stay. Due to the location, we do not rent to young people/groups of friends.

Many attractions like the UNESCo World-Herritage Site "Koloniën van Weldadigheid" and the national park "Drenths-Fries wold") are only minutes away. Larger places like Gorredijk and sports-capital of Friesland Heerenveen are within easy reach. Enjoy the views from the guesthouse and spot the (roe)deer and other wildlife our region has to offer!

Jan's renovated cowshed has 3 spacious double rooms. All rooms have a beautiful private bathroom with shower and toilet. The rooms are accessible via a hallway to a cozy, shared living room and a fully equipped kitchen. Coffee and tea are available unlimited. At pleasant temperatures, one can make use of a cozily furnished barn, which serves as an extra seating area.

Welcome to this cozy fully furnished house, located in the woods in Otterlo, a few meters walk from village, heath and sand dunes. Peace seekers and nature lovers can indulge themselves here! Also very suitable for families, and pets are welcome. However, we charge 20 euros per pet. To be paid in cash upon arrival.
