Holiday houses in Kapellen

This new house has an artistic, minimalist architecture with a soothing, calming atmosphere. We appreciated the lack of superfluous items or kitschy decorations. The house is surrounded by a beautiful landscape. The view was fantastic, no TV needed. The cozy sleeping places were high quality and had large duvets. There was a lot of peace, although the only neighboring house was sometimes being built. Since it was light in the morning in May, one of us had too few options for darkening. The host really cares about his guests, he was always proactive, very helpful and responsive. We traveled without a car and for the last kilometers it worked well with the call bus (phone or app). The on-call bus has certain operating times and a time lead. Under certain conditions, some trips are even free (taxis are horrendously expensive).

Désirée's cottage was beautiful. Exactly a Swedish cottage, in the middle of nature. It was completely as we expected and our dog Pippa enjoyed the freedom in the garden, as everything was fenced. We were allowed to take vegetables from the vegetable garden, everything was present: a swimming pond, a sauna, a cozy cottage. We also got recommendations for walks leaving from the cottage. You could really immediately discover the beautiful nature. It also cools down nicely in the evening in the summer. Definitely recommended for those who like to go out. We were just sorry that the village itself was very quiet. Outside some older people, there didn't seem to be much life. There was one restaurant that was very worthwhile. There we ate deliciously! So if you are looking for tranquility, this is the ideal place. So sometimes a little too quiet for us, but you are easy by car in Graz and Vienna, so there are plenty of possibilities!

Very well equipped and well-maintained apartment in beautiful countryside. Pleasant living room temperature even in extreme heat. Absolutely recommended!

We were 8 adults and 5 children under 4 years old - and had a great time in this beautiful accommodation! The photos show exactly how it actually looks and you can see how much love and taste has flowed into the interior. The bedrooms are very well distributed throughout the house, two even have direct access to the bathroom. They are spacious, the windows are quite new. There are plenty of bathrooms and the water pressure is great. Barbecuing in the garden was particularly great and the many seating options throughout the house and garden offered a variety of places to chat and/or relax. Communication with Claudia & Manuela worked out great: They always responded promptly to messages/questions. The only challenges were the somewhat narrow spiral staircase that leads into the garden and the rather small refrigerator for all our food😅. Overall, however, 100 out of 100 points 💜 We have already booked for next year 😁

We had a wonderful stay at the villa! The accommodation was just as beautiful as in the pictures – very clean, stylishly furnished and perfectly equipped. I would especially like to highlight the hospitality of the owner - very friendly and took excellent care of everything. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. Absolutely recommended!

The location of the house is a little difficult to find, I suggest posting a significant sign at the entrance of the house, the house is very clean and tidy, the surroundings are quiet, and it is convenient to the town. The house is fully equipped with all kinds of facilities.

The house is in a completely secluded location, with a beautiful view of the mountainside on the other side of the valley in which Mürzzuschlag is located - hardly any houses to be seen, forest everywhere - apart from cowbells and birds, complete silence. The house is historic, but brand new renovated, tastefully decorated, and spacious. The large panoramic windows in the living room and kitchen look great. The garden around the house is beautiful, including a bench, deck chairs, and a fountain with drinking water, fantastic. Next to the house there is a large shed, on the first floor of this, and the house there are private apartments of the owner family - but we were alone and undisturbed, I suspect this will be the case most of the time. The surrounding forest is dense and natural, 30 minutes away by car there are several 3D archery courses, two of which I know (EAT, Komantschen) and are highly recommended. Michale, our host, was very friendly and helpful. Recommendation!!

Great opportunity for a family with 2-3 kids to spend a weekend or even longer in the countryside in the Rax region. Very nice and friendly host. Everything was just as expected and even more. We will come again! P.S.: The nearest public pool is just a 3-minute drive or a 20-minute walk away. The kids loved it too! :-)
