An absolutely lovely little getaway. The house is beautiful, warm, modern and cosy and has everything you need. The garden is private and lots of options for sitting outside and taking in the great view! We could hear tui and the beach from the garden. Great location, 3 min walk to the beautiful Otaihanga domain and river walk down to the estuary and beach or up to waikanae. Great for the dogs! Really handy to paraparumu, pubs, cafes, and shops. Lucy was a dream host - super helpful and kind. Thanks for having us, we will definitely be back!

A lovely town with a coastal and nature-filled vibe — very family-friendly. The host was wonderful and extremely helpful. The house is well-organized and comfortable for a family stay, including two bicycles available for guests to use. There are cute cafés around with a laid-back, holiday atmosphere.

A little slice of heaven!! We extended our stay twice because we loved it so much! We felt right at home, and super refreshed, we loved the decor and the layout of the home, walking distance to shops and amenities too! The host was very responsive and accomodating to all of our requests. Highly recommended! Thank you for having us ❤️

We enjoyed our stay, surrounded by a beautiful garden and at walking distance from the beach, restaurants and bakery. Neighboring a reserve at the back was a bonus, so we had more space to play ball games. It was a great place to rest and relax, indoor or outdoor. Board games available to play when it rained. One thing to note is that the bedroom upstairs, although private, it doesn't have a door to block any noise from downstairs. It is a cute cottage with lots of space for everybody.

This house was excellent for our extended family gathering – the kids loved the table tennis room, the oldies loved the view, and we all loved the direct access to the beach. Thank you, Jill, – your communications were great, the house was spotless, the beds were super and the setting made this a gathering we will all remember, even though it was for Great Grandma’s funeral.

We had a wonderful stay at the villa. The place was warm and cosy, with lots to do and space to spread out. Sarah was lovely to deal with - clear communication and instructions.

The house was tidy, very well appointed, clean and gorgeous. The deck is huge and the proximity to the wineries and the square was perfect.

Such a great place to stay, perfect for our group. Lots of space, both as a large group but also breakout areas. Outdoors is stunning, great to wander around in the sun and fresh air, very quiet and peaceful - our dogs love it!! Well equipped throughout, kitchen had all the staples and plenty of serving ware for group meals, bedrooms were all fabulously set out, plenty of extra bedding and towels if needed. Lots of games to have fun with, plus the pool and tennis court. We had a blast, thank you for having us!!

The place was just as pictured. Lovely loft barn style super cozy and comfortable. Jessica took the time to light the fire and have the place already warm for us before we got then and as very accommodating with any request. Would happily book here again

I really appreciated our short stay. The kitchen had a range of equipment I could cook with. Easy to clean up in every room. Great layout and my family really liked it. I would recommend this place. Cosy comfortable cottage spotlessly clean and warm. we didn't meet Claire her Dad was very kind and opened the gate for us as it was wet and dark on arrival. we would recommend.

This place was great for the family. Nice and cosy with room enough to get your own space when needed. The fire place was an added bonus when the weather closed in.

We spent Xmas and new year here. The house has a great outlook over Kapiti Island and there is a comfortable homey lounge with a nice indoor/outdoor flow. The Pohutakawa’s next door were in bloom. We had the grandkids over and they loved the spa pool. There is a mezzanine off one of the bedrooms with an awesome amount of Lego. So, heaven for kids to go up there and have a bit of a play. Huge selection of board games etc and Texas Holdem poker was a hit with our crew. The oven takes a bit of a fiddle and a couple of go’s to get the hang of it. The driveway can be a challenge. We were mainly here to catch up with family, but enjoyed some of the local sights , including the car museum and the Barry Hadfield Nikau forest. Carolin is responsive and overall a great time was had by all.

We had a wonderful one-month stay! The host was incredibly accommodating, helpful, and friendly throughout our time there. Everything we needed was provided, making our stay comfortable and hassle-free. What stood out the most was the host’s genuine interest in ensuring guests had an enjoyable experience. They went the extra mile by sourcing additional puzzles and offering other engaging activities, on top of what was already available at the accommodation. Very respectful and thoughtful—highly recommended!

Perfect in every way! thank you for our weekend stay

This place was absolutely stunning. So worth what you pay to stay here. Every space and room is beautiful. We had a group of 7 stay and everyone loved it. The showers were great, we found a few different water pressure levels available in the main bathroom, such a fancy find. We needed ice and found the fridge had a ice and water system, which was sooooo cool, great tech feature. Loved the Nespresso Machine. The place is astheticly pleasing. Beds were perfect and each room is set up so stylish. You get a great view of the water and sun set from the top floor. Parking space is excellent for 2 large family sized vehicles and elevator was a highlight.

Peter’s place was right in Te Horo Beach, walking distance to the beach and the Bus Stop Cafe with an easy drive to the shops. The house itself was a good size with great shared living spaces & kitchen for a group. Would 100% recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area.
