Fabulous place to stay :)

Beautiful house and impeccably clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Pool was great, and the side yard was bigger than anticipated. The host provided pool floaties and other toys for the yard which was awesome for the kids. Only downside was the view is partially obstructed with an old building across street and it’s a little bit louder than anticipated being on busy road/ highway and beside service station. Despite this its still quite private with gated access and trees. As for location, very easy to explore and get to the beaches. We went to a new one each day, and all within 15 min beautiful drive. Great value for those wanting a pool and to explore.

Would highly recommend Marble Villa. Niki is a very good host and responds to queries very quickly. She gave us great recommendations for beaches and restaurants all of which lived up to expectations. The villa is surprisingly large for a two bedroom and has everything you’ll need for a holiday. The pool was cleaned regularly and always had a shady spot at any time of the day. It is a very quiet secluded location - nearest restaurant is a six minute drive away and both Rethymno (north coast) and the beaches of the south coast are a 25 minute drive away but for us this was ideal. You’ll need a car but this means you can access all sorts of quiet places off the beaten track. Lovely holiday, lovely villa, lovely host!

A fantastic house with wonderful sea views and all the comforts! Tastefully decorated with good quality both indoors and outdoors. Very private location without visibility. Lovely balcony with pool, parasols and outdoor furniture. We were personally received in the house at the appointed time and were given a tour of the house and all its features, as well as a basket of specialties from Crete. Walking distance about 5-10 minutes to Plakias with shops and restaurants. The only thing we wished for was a few more hooks to hang clothes on.

I can’t say enough good things about Amalen. I found it on Air B & B and so I expected almost no interaction. Our stay was 5 star in every way. Jacob and the rest of the staff cared for us. They were so helpful. The breakfast was amazing and each day they knew we were headed out, they packed us a to go box…even on our day of departure. We had the best time and if ever in Crete would only stay with them again.

Our stay at this house was absolutely amazing! The home is spacious, beautifully designed, and fully equipped for a relaxing and comfortable holiday. The outdoor area was a real highlight – perfect for morning coffee, sunbathing, or enjoying a peaceful evening under the stars. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. The atmosphere of the house made us feel immediately at home. Stavros was a wonderful host. He welcomed us personally with a short tour of the house during check-in and gave us many helpful local tips. On top of that, he generously provided us with fresh fruit and other essentials, which was such a thoughtful touch.

Nikos’s place is probably one of the best houses we’ve ever stayed at. Much better than the photos (which are already cool)!! Nikos is an excellent host, very responsive and helpful. When we got there Nikos had left us tons of amenities, water, cookies for our kids, etc. The living room with sea sights is simply AMAZING!! The surroundings are great too. Small walkable streets, supermarkets, bakeries, hand made take out pizza, etc. Thanks again Nikos, we’ll always keep this stay in our memories.

One of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in—and I’ve stayed in many around the world. As a picky germaphobe, I was so impressed by how spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed the villa was. The views are stunning, the outdoor space (pool, jacuzzi, grill, and deck) is a dream, and every detail—from the linens to the lighting—was just right. What made it truly special was our host, Georgia. She greeted us personally at midnight, made us feel genuinely welcomed, and went above and beyond throughout our stay. Her warmth, helpful tips, and thoughtful surprises added so much heart to the trip. The location is peaceful and beautiful—ideal for relaxing and disconnecting—but still close enough to explore charming towns, beaches, and amazing local food. A rental car is definitely needed to get around and fully enjoy everything Crete has to offer. We didn’t want to leave and are already planning our return. This place is truly a gem!
